Objective: This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical efficacy of proximal fibular osteotomy combined with arthroscopic debridement and simple arthroscopic debridement in patients with knee osteoarthritis with medial compartment stenosis,in order to provide evidence for clinical treatment. Methods:The clinical data of 50 patients with knee osteoarthritis complicated with knee varus hospitalized in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology,Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2017 to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to different surgical methods, including 23 cases in the experimental group and 27 cases in the control group. The experimental group was treated with proximal fibular osteotomy combined with arthroscopic debridement, and the control group was treated with simple arthroscopic debridement. The knees were iced for 24 h after operation, and the patients were asked to exercise quadriceps femoris. The VAS score and HSS score before operation and 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation were compareration and 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation were compared to evaluate the pain and knee function recovery. At the same time, the femoral tibial angle, knee varus angle and the distance between the medial space of the knee joint were recorded before and 6 months after operation. Results: 1.There was no significant difference in preoperative gender, age,VAS score and HSS score between the two groups(p > 0.05).2.The VAS score of the two groups at 1week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after operation was lower than that before operation(p < 0.05),and the HSS score was higher than that before operation(p < 0.05).The difference was statistically significant, suggesting that the experimental group and the control group have significant curative effect in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.3.In the experimental group, the femoral and tibial angle increased, the knee varus angle decreased, and the medial knee joint space increased(p < 0.05).In the control group, there was no significant change in the femoral and tibial angle, the knee varus angle and the medial knee joint space before and after operation(p > 0.05),suggesting that the experimental group can improve the lower limb force line compared with the control group. Conclusion: Both the experimental group and the control group showed significant curative effect in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.Compared with the control group, the experimental group can correct varus to some extent, improve the lower limb line, and delay the progression of knee osteoarthritis. Conclusion:The experimental group and the control group had good effects on improving knee function and reducing knee pain.Simple arthroscopic debridement cannot change the knee varus.Proximal fibular osteotomy can change the biomechanical structure of the knee joint to a certain extent, correct the knee varus and delay the progress of knee osteoarthritis.
