With the development and progress of society, people’s demand for medical resources is increasing, and the online medical community has greatly supplemented the traditional medical industry. The healthy development of the online medical community relies on abundant information resources. The information resources of patients are mainly concentrated in the information communication in online consultations. The construction of the information content of the community greatly depends on the active and extensive information sharing by doctors. This article is from the perspective of individual personality characteristics.Begin to explore the influence of doctors’ individual personalities on information sharing, and at the same time explore the role of doctors’ professional titles and different disease types(privacy dimensions)in regulating research relationships. This article first analyzes and summarizes related researches on online medical communities at home and abroad through literature collection, and makes a comprehensive review of current research. Then, based on the relevant nature of the online medical community and the Big Five personality theory and text analysis technology,a theoretical model of the relationship between doctors’ individual personality characteristics, doctor’s title, disease type and doctor’s information sharing is established. This article selects "Chunyu Doctor App" as the research platform, uses Python to collect relevant data on the research platform, and defines the variables after data processing;then uses the LIWC dictionary to calculate the doctor’s Big Five personality dimension based on the dialogue text in the online community. Then establish a multiple regression model to conduct empirical analysis of the model and verify the research hypothesis proposed in this article. For the empirical results, combined with the status quo of the development of online medical communities in my country, the results are analyzed from the theoretical and practical levels. The empirical results show that(1)the individual doctor’s extraverted personality and pleasant personality have a positive and significant impact on doctor information sharing;(2)the individual doctor’s open personality, neurotic personality, and conscientious personality have no effect on doctor information sharing Impact;(3)Doctor’s title and disease type(privacy dimension)have a moderating effect on the relationship between individual doctor’s personality characteristics and doctor’s information sharing. It is found that pleasant personality will affect the information of doctors with high professional titles and doctors who are mainly responsible for treating diseases with high privacy requirements.Sharing has a positive impact;open personality will have a negative impact on the information sharing of doctors with high professional titles and doctors who are mainly responsible for treating diseases with high privacy requirements;conscientious personality will have a negative impact on the information sharing of doctors with high professional titles.Theoretically, this article enriches the research on the influence of individual personality characteristics in the field of online medical community. In practice, online medical community platforms can guide doctors based on their personality characteristics, professional titles, and disease types, prompting them to share more information;at the same time, this article can provide reference and reference for follow-up scholars to deal with large-scale unstructured short texts.
