| In modern times,with the continuous deepening of western learning and the development of missionary activities,dentistry and dentistry have gradually emerged in China.This article takes modern dentists as the research center,and comprehensively sorts out the development process of dentistry in China in the 1930 s and 1940 s.Due to the limitation of modern medical and health standards and the people’s disregard for dental diseases,dental problems were more prominent at that time.Before and after the Opium War,Western dentistry was introduced to China,and modern dentists began to appear.As a kind of doctor,dentists not only diagnose and treat patients and open hospitals,but also actively go abroad to learn and communicate to spread dental knowledge to the society.Since then,dentist schools and dentist organizations have also been established,and the dentistry industry has gradually grown.In this process,the government has strengthened its management and the industry has basically achieved a healthy development in the two-way interaction of the dentistry business by means of training and assessment.This healthy development has also laid a foundation for better communication between dentists and the public.On the one hand,the development of modern dentistry is conducive to the solution of dental hygiene problems,and at the same time,it has also played a certain role in promoting the renewal of public hygiene concepts.However,limited by the times,the development of dentistry also showed the characteristics of fragmentation and fragmentation.But from an overall point of view,its significance to the progress of society is still worthy of recognition. |
