| Objective:A meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Botulinum toxin A in improving postoperative scar in yellow race patients, and to provide A higher theoretical basis for improving postoperative scar in yellow race patients. Methods:By developing search strategies for free words and subject words, and searching databases such as Pub Med,Embase,The Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Wanfang and CNKI,we collected randomized controlled trials(RCTs)related to botulinotoxin type A and postoperative scar in yellow species. The retrieval time limit is from the establishment of the database to August 2020.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria in this paper, randomized controlled trials related to Botulinum Toxin A and postoperative scar of yellow race were screened. Finally, relevant data in the included literature were extracted to compare the efficacy of Botulinum Toxin A in the treatment of postoperative scar of yellow race group with placebo group or blank control group.Evaluation measures included scar width,Vancouver Scar Scale(VSS,Vancouver Scar Scale),visual analogue scale(VAS,visual analogue scale),patient satisfaction and incidence of adverse reactions. Finally, the data of the included literatures were combined and analyzed by software Rev Man5.3.Results:Thirteen randomized controlled trials(RCTs)involving 641 patients were eventually included. Results combined with Rev Man 5.3 showed that: 1.In terms of the width of postoperative scar, there was A statistical difference between the BTX group and the control group. The width of postoperative scar in the BTX group was smaller than that in the control group, with A MD value of-0.26(95%CI,-0.37~-0.15).2.In terms of VSS(Vancouver Scar Scale),the score of the Botulinx A treatment group was lower than that of the control group, and the improvement of scar was more obvious, and the difference was statistically significant, with the MD value of-1.79(95%CI,-2.58 to-1.01).3.In terms of visual analog scale(VAS),the BTXA treatment group scored better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant, with MD value of 1.76(95%CI,0.33-3.18).4.Due to the low degree of satisfaction of the included patients and different evaluation criteria, the combined analysis could not be carried out.5.In terms of adverse reactions,4 articles reported that mild adverse reactions in the observation group were all improved in A short period of time without serious adverse reactions, and there was no statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group with OR value of 2.26(0.70,7.27).Conclusions:Botulinum toxin type A is beneficial to improve the appearance and texture of postoperative scar in yellow species, reduce the width of scar, and has certain safety without obvious adverse reactions. |
