| Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty combined with Jianshenqianggu formula in the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture.Methods: Patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture admitted to the Department of Spinal Surgery of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from June 2019 to June 2020 were selected.Sixty patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.In the treatment group,after percutaneous vertebroplasty,Chinese medicine Jianshenqianggu formula,Calcitriol Soft Capsules and Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 Tablets were taken orally for anti-osteoporosis treatment;The control group received oral Calcitriol Soft Capsules and Calcium Carbonate and Vitamin D3 Tablets after percutaneous vertebroplasty for routine anti-osteoporosis treatment.Patients in the two groups were followed up for more than 6 months,VAS score and ODI index were recorded and compared before treatment,1 week,1 month,3months and 6 months after treatment.Six months later,BMD levels of the femoral neck were measured by DXA,and the measured BMD levels were compared before and after treatment.At the same time,the overall effective rate after 6 months of treatment was systematically observed and analyzed.Results:1.The general information of patients in the two groups,such as gender,age,course of disease,fractured vertebral body and number,pre-treatment VAS score,ODI index,bone mineral density level,showed no statistical difference after analysis(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment: VAS scores in group A were significantly lower than those before treatment at 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).One week and one month after treatment,the VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared between groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).At 3 and 6 months after treatment,the VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were compared between groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of ODI index before and after treatment between the two groups: The ODI index of 2 groups at 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6months after treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).One week and one month after treatment,the ODI index of the treatment group and the control group were compared between groups,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).At 3 and 6 months after treatment,the ODI index of the treatment group and the control group was compared between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Comparison of bone mineral density levels between the two groups before and after treatment: 6 months after treatment,the comparison of the mean BMD level between the two groups showed that the BMD level of the treatment group was slightly improved,but the BMD level of the control group was not significantly improved.Compared with before treatment,there was no statistical significance difference(P>0.05).Comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed statistically significant difference(P<0.05).5.Comparison of the overall treatment effect between the two groups after 6 months of treatment: The overall effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion(s): In the clinical treatment of OVCF,the application of PVP combined with the traditional Chinese medicine Jianshenqianggu formula can not only relieve patients’ back pain quickly,improve patients’ quality of life,but also effectively improve the body bone mineral density level.The therapeutic effect is definite,which is worthy of further clinical promotion and application. |
