With the development of science and technology,the medical field is gradually moving towards intelligence,and more and more researchers have begun to study medical images.Medical image research is inseparable from the construction of medical image data sets,so the research and development of medical image labeling systems have emerged.However,the specificity of medical images puts forward higher requirements on medical image labeling systems.It has become a significant challenge to design a labeling system by following the characteristics of medical images.To meet the specific labeling requirements of medical images,this paper designs and implements a multi-modal medical image labeling system.This system devised various labeling methods to meet the needs of medical image labeling according to the multi-modal characteristics of medical images.At the same time,it proposed a multi-labeling-storage method for different labeling strategies and created various types of labeling files for these strategies to meet the needs of data set construction.This system is developed on the mobile terminal,which is more convenient for labeling compared to the computer terminal,so as to improve labeling efficiency.This paper first introduces the research background and significance of the subject and determines the labeling system’s primary research goal.Next,it elaborates the related technologies,medical image knowledge,and third-party open-source libraries used in the system design and implementation process.Subsequently,this paper describes the system’s design requirements,introduces the system’s overall architecture,and divides the system into several sub-modules such as the medical image labeling module and storage module.Combined with use case diagrams and flowcharts,the outline design of each module is explained.On this basis,the detailed design and implementation of each module are introduced,and the implementation of each method in the system is shown using class diagrams and data tables.Then,the system’s various functions were tested,and the expected results and actual results were described.Finally,we summarize the work done in this paper and prospect the next step of the multi-modal medical image labeling system.
