The purpose of this study is to reduce the insertion friction in the operation of deep brain stimulation.According to the interaction characteristics of tissue and needle in the process of insertion,the mechanism of vibration-assisted deep brain stimulation is explored.In this paper,the interaction between needle and tissue in the process of insertion is analyzed according to the influence mechanism of vibration on the friction in the process of insertion.By modeling the insertion friction force under vibration condition,the friction force and equivalent friction coefficient in the process of vibration assisted insertion were analyzed,and the influence of each parameter on the friction force under vibration condition and the trend of the friction force with each parameter were obtained.By comparing and analyzing the vibration parameters of different antifriction effects,the antifriction mechanism of vibration on insertion is obtained,which provides a theoretical basis for the follow-up research on vibration assisted insertion.In this paper,the applicability of vibration-assisted insertion in the process of brain tissue insertion in DBS surgery was confirmed through experiments,indicating that vibration-assisted insertion can effectively reduce the friction force in the process of brain tissue insertion,and the friction force was reduced by 31%at most in the experiment.The interaction of parameters in the process of vibration-assisted insertion was verified by experiments.The results show that the average deviation of different groups of experiments with the same product of vibration parameters is at least 0.001 1 86mN,and there is no significant correlation between them.The experimental results show that the variation trend of friction force is the same as the predicted trend in the established friction model,which verifies the correctness of the friction model.On this basis,this paper explored the influence of needle velocity on the friction force of needle per unit length in the process of vibration-assisted insertion through theoretical analysis,and obtained the curve of needle velocity and friction force.The effect of vibration parameters on the positive pressure during the insertion process was verified by experiments.The results showed that vibration could reduce part of the positive pressure,but the reduction degree was independent of vibration parameters.The positive pressure under different parameters decreased by 8.1%on average,and there was no significant correlation between them.Auxiliary insertion through the orthogonal experiment of vibration in the process of multiple parameters are optimized,the results show that the parameter values within the scope of the experiment,in the process of insertion needle into choose 1 m/s speed,vibration frequency 750 Hz,the vibration amplitude to choose 10 microns for the optimal parameter combination of vibration assisted insertion,provides the auxiliary insertion vibration in the operation parameter selection of reference.In this paper,vibration was introduced into deep brain stimulation surgery.According to the characteristics of brain tissue,the antifriction characteristics and mechanism of vibration-assisted insertion were studied.It provides a pioneering idea to modified the DBS procedure.
