The Study Of The Difference Of Efficacy Between Chitosan Quaternary Ammonium Salt Of Silica Gel And Pure Silica Gel In The Treatment Of Hypertrophic Scar

ObjectiveCorrelational study of the difference of efficacy between chitosan quaternary ammonium salt of silica gel and pure silica gel in the treatment of hypertrophic scar.And explore the regular pattern of TCM Syndrome Types in hypertrophic scar patients.MethodsIn this paper,taking 50 patients with hypertrophic scar those met the inclusion criteria who receive treatment in TCM hospital of Guangdong Province as the research objects.They were divided into two groups,One group was treated with chitosan quaternary ammonium salt of silica gel,and the other group was treated with silicate gel alone.In both groups,the scars of the patients were cleaned and dried before the treatment.In the SQASC group,the scars were smeared gently with moderate SQASC for 0.5-1mm thick.In the pure silica gel group,the patients applied silicone tape to the scar,and massage gently to make a good contact with the scar.Both groups were treated for three months.In the process of treatment and follow-up,according to the integral standard,we observed and recorded the color,height,hardness and accompanying symptoms of scar of both groups.The data were statistically processed by SPSS.We studied on the difference of efficacy between SQASC and pure silica gel in the treatment of hypertrophic scar.At the same time,we assessed the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine on the patients.ResultsA total of 50 patients with hypertrophic scar were treated.There were 25 cases in the SQASC group,and the total effective rate was 96%.There were 25 cases in the pure silica gel group,and the total effective rate was 88%,The comparison of the clinical efficacy of SQASC group and pure silica gel group,P<0.05,The difference was statistically significant.The clinical curative effect of SQASC group showed significantly better than the pure silica gel group.50 patients with hypertrophic scar constitution of TCM dialectical type,most of them were Stagnant Blood constitution and phlegm-dampness constitution.The third one was damp-heat constitution.Conclusion1.SQASC is an effective material for the treatment of hypertrophic scar.And its curative effect is obviously better than the pure silica gel.2.The patients with hypertrophic scar constitution of TCM dialectical type give priority to with blood stasis constitution,the second is phlegm-dampness constitution and damp-heat constitution.
