| Objective To compare the ventilation effects of C-E and V-E mask ventilation during general anesthesia induction in adults.Methods A total of 116 patients aged over 18 years with,ASA(The American Society of Anesthesiologists)gradeⅠ-Ⅲundergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia were selected.The general data of the patients were recorded,including height,weight,neck circumference,presence of gastric tube,laryngoscope exposure grade and so on.The patients were randomly divided into two groups:CE manual mask ventilation group and VE manual mask ventilation group.After anesthesia induction,the pressure control mode was adopted,the airway pressure was set to 20cm H2O,the inspiratory expiratory ratio was 1:2,and the respiratory rate was 12 times/min.After the eyelash reflex disappeared,the same anesthesiologist randomly cross-used C-E and V-E for mechanical ventilation,and the data were recorded 2 minutes after the use of muscle relaxants.The tidal volume and airway pressure of three consecutive breaths were recorded and their average values were calculated.Results A total of 116 patients participated in this study,and finally 104patients were included in the analysis.there was no significant difference in general data between CE group and VE group(P>0.05);There was significant difference in airway pressure and tidal volume(385.34±212.08ml:601.22±98.12ml)between C-E manipulation and V-E manipulation in neck circumference 40cm group(P<0.05).The results showed that there was a significant difference in airway pressure and tidal volume(385.34±212.08ml:601.22±98.12ml);In the gastric tube group,there was no significant difference in airway pressure between C-E manipulation and V-E manipulation,but there was significant difference in tidal volume(490.50±215.58ml:636.50±180.16ml);Among the 104 people included in the criteria,the poor ventilation rate of Cmur E manipulation was 10.6%,and The rate of poor ventilation in V-E manipulation was 0,and the difference was statistically significant.The tidal volume of V-E manipulation(628.53±115.11ml)was significantly higher than that of C-E manipulation(466.48±193.99ml),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the tidal volume of V-E manipulation was significantly higher than that of C-E manipulation(466.48±193.99ml).There was significant difference in airway pressure between C-E manipulation and V-E manipulation(P<0.05);There were 52 patients in the CE group,and 6 patients(11.5%)were unable to undergo effective ventilation,while 52 patients in the VE group were able to undergo effective ventilation,and 5(9.6%)patients could not be ventilated effectively when switching to C-E manipulation.Conclusion V-E manual mask ventilation can obtain higher tidal volume and better ventilation effect than C-E manual mask ventilation;When C-E technique can not obtain effective mask ventilation,V-E manipulation can improve the ventilation effect. |
