Objective:To explore the related factors of early complications of anterior cervical spine surgery, and to provide valuable advice for clinical treatment.Methods:108 patients who underwent anterior cervical approach in our hospital from October 2011 to August 2019 were analyzed retrospectively.Gender, age, course of disease, disease type, paralysis, mode of internal fixation, operation segment, operation time, intraoperative blood loss and other information were taken as independent variables, and early complications were taken as dependent variables.Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were performed. Results:Among the 108 patients in this study,16 patients had early postoperative complications, accounting for 14.8%.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age(t=1.072,p=0.001),disease type(x2=23.997 p<0.001)and paralysis(x2=13.411 p=0.001).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age(β=0.086,S.E.=0.935,p=0.014)and disease type(β=-1.134,S.E.=0.350,p=0.001)were independent risk factors for early postoperative complications after anterior cervical surgery. Conclusion:Local tissue and spinal cord injury in patients with cervical spine fracture and dislocation is more serious than that with cervical spondylosis, cervical disc herniation and cervical tumor, and more prone to occur early complications after surgery. The older patients are more likely to occur postoperative early complications. The exposure of intraoperative approach and decompression are related to postoperative complications, which should be paid more attention to.
