During the planting process of the pre-seed sugarcane horizontal planter,the placement direction of the sugarcane seeds and the direction of the furrows are perpendicular to each other.The insufficient width of the furrows opened by the opener will lead to insufficient planting depth,resulting in poor tillering and low germination rate of sugarcane seeds..Therefore,this paper aims at the problems of narrow ditch opening,excessive soil return from ditch opener,insufficient ditch width and large traction resistance.Based on the horizontal planting requirements of sugarcane in the coastal areas of Guangxi,this paper uses discrete element simulation and the response surface method.,to improve the design of the coretype opener.The main research contents of the paper are as follows:(1)By measuring the physical parameters of the sugarcane planting soil in the coastal areas of Guangxi,using the GEMM database and obtaining the range of intrinsic physical parameters between soil and soil steel through physical tests,and using the Design-Expert optimization software to determine the soil physical parameters in the coastal areas of Guangxi And establish discrete element simulation soil model.(2)By analyzing the soil movement during the ditching process and the requirements for horizontal sugarcane planting,improve the design of the flanks of the opener,change the straight surface into an inclined surface,reduce the backflow of soil on the sidewall during the ditching process,and combine the requirements for lateral planting of sugarcane and ditching The basic structural parameters of the core-type opener are determined according to the design requirements of the opener.(3)By selecting the opener width,soil entry angle,slope angle,and flank inclination as the test factors,a four-factor and three-level orthogonal test was designed;discrete element simulation optimization was carried out according to the horizontal planting requirements of sugarcane and the principle of minimum resistance,and finally the core was determined.The optimal parameters of the structure of the opener;by analyzing the resistance change of the opener under different operating conditions,it can provide a reference for the actual trenching operation parameters.(4)Theoretical check and simulation analysis of the limit conditions in the opener’s working process are carried out through the statics theoretical analysis of the opener and the finite element analysis software,and the deformation cloud map and stress cloud map of the opener are obtained.The results Indicates that the overall structure meets the strength criteria.
