Jize County is a famous “ hometown of pepper in China ”.Pepper as a local characteristic agricultural product has made great contribution to the economic development of Jize.Due to long-term traditional soil cultivation,improper water irrigation,etc.,resulting in continuous cropping obstacles,low water and fertilizer utilization,variety degradation,restricting the industrial development of pepper in Jize County.Substrate cultivation has the advantages of cost saving,efficiency,safety and environmental protection,and can get rid of the disadvantages of traditional soil planting methods.Lower limit of irrigation is an important indicator of irrigation,which can regulate water supply and save water.In this thesis,aiming at the development dilemma of pepper industry in Jize area,the characteristic hypoglycemic pepper was used as test material,the effects of different cultivation modes and different irrigation limits on the growth of pepper were studied.The main results are as follows :(1)Two kinds of commercial substrates(Nongyou,Xinnuo)and two kinds of cultivation containers(underground tank,three-dimensional foam box)were combined into four kinds of substrate culture cultivation methods,and soil cultivation was used as control to study the effects of different cultivation modes on the growth physiology,quality and yield of pepper.The results showed that : substrate culture of hypoglycemic pepper has significant good results.The plant growth potential of underground trough culture treatment is strong,especially the combination of Nongyou + underground trough treatment has a significant effect.The potential activity and light energy conversion efficiency of optical system II in the combination treatment of Xeno and three-dimensional foam box were significantly higher than those in other treatments.There was no significant difference in fruit quality between underground trough culture and three-dimensional foam box culture.The underground trough culture has low cost,high yield and good economic benefit.Among them,Nongyou + underground trough treatment has the highest output-input ratio.In summary,the combination of Nongyou substrate and underground trough is suitable as the optimal substrate culture mode of hypoglycemic pepper in Jize area.(2)Using the optimal cultivation mode,four different irrigation lower limits as experimental treatment,which were 50 %,60 %,70 % and 80 % of field water holding capacity.Taking the growth physiology,photosynthetic fluorescence characteristics,quality and yield of pepper as reference,the ideal irrigation lower limit was selected.The results show : different irrigation lower limit,pepper growth was significantly different.The plants treated with 70 % and 80 % field water holding capacity had strong growth potential,and the proportion of dry matter in fruits treated with 70 % field water holding capacity was the highest,which was conducive to the rational distribution of dry matter.The leaves treated with 70 % and 80 % field water status maintained well,which could better promote the physiological activities of leaves.The malondialdehyde content and antioxidant enzyme activity of leaves treated with 50 % and 60 % field water holding capacity were higher,indicating that the lower irrigation limit would damage the cells.With the increase of irrigation lower limit,the photosynthetic capacity of leaves showed an upward trend.The fruits treated with 70 % and 80 % field capacity had good quality and high yield,and the water use efficiency was the highest.In conclusion,the lower irrigation limit of 70 % or 80 % field water holding capacity can be used as the ideal lower irrigation limit of hypoglycemic pepper in Jize area.From the perspective of water saving,the effect is the best when the lower limit of irrigation is70 % of the field capacity.
