In this experiment,the nutrition pot seedling method was adopted.Through the physical and chemical properties of humified corn straw,biochar and peat,and referring to the previous research scheme,9 kinds of seedling substrates were prepared according to different volume ratio instead of peat.Compared with pure peat substrate,the random block design method was used to carry out the nutrition pot soilless seedling experiment of tomato.The potential of humified corn straw and biochar instead of peat composite substrate as tomato seedling substrate was studied.The treatments included: H2CS(peat: highly humified corn straw = 8:2),H4CS(peat:highly humified corn straw = 6:4),H2+M4CS(peat: highly humified corn straw:moderately humified corn straw = 4:2:4),H2+M6CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 2:2:6),2BC(peat:biochar = 8:2),4BC(peat:biochar = 6:4),6BC(peat: biochar = 4: 6),8BC(peat: biochar = 2:8),10BC(peat:biochar = 0:10),and pure peat substrate CK treatment.Through the analysis of the physical and chemical properties of different composite substrates,and the physiological and biochemical analysis of the seedlings cultivated by each composite substrate,the conclusion was drawn: The effects of H2+M4CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 4:2:4)and H2+M6CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 2:2:6)were better.In order to select the most suitable matrix formula for tomato seedling,treatments were added in the above two suitable matrix formulas,including: H2+M4.2CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 3.8:2:4.2),H2+M4.6CS(peat:highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 3.4:2:4.6),H2+M5CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 3:2:5),H2+M4.6CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw =3.4:2:4.6),H2+ M5CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 3:2:5)H2+ M5.4CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 2.6:2:5.4),H2+M5.8CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 2.2:2:5.8).By analyzing the effects of various suitable compound substrates on the plant morphology and physiological indexes of tomato nutrition pot seedlings,as well as the changes of physical and chemical properties before and after the seedling cultivation of various suitable compound substrates,the results showed that: The results showed that the mixed substrate with humified corn straw had the best seedling raising effect in the ratio of H2+M4CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 4:2:4)and H2+M5CS(peat:highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 3:2:5),and its physicochemical properties and seedling raising effect were significantly higher than those of CK and other treatments.The results showed that the physicochemical properties and seedling effect of the mixed substrate were significantly higher than those of CK in the proportion of 2BC(biochar: peat = 2:8)and 4BC(biochar: peat =4:6).Considering the changes of physicochemical properties of substrate,tomato seedling growth and physiological indexes,the appropriate mixing ratio of H2+M4CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw = 4:2:4)and H2+M4.2CS(peat: highly humified corn straw: moderately humified corn straw =4:2:4.2)was obtained.This study not only opens up a new direction for the application of humified corn straw and biochar,but also contributes to alleviating the pressure of peat resources.
