Genetic Analysis Of Hybrid Progenies And Transformation Of IPI Gene In Aromatic And Nutritive Rice

Rice cross breeding has improved the global rice yield,and the improvement of taste and nutrition quality has also improved the quality of human life.In this paper,10 introduced high-quality rice varieties and 21 hybrid progenies were studied on the germplasm resources of aroma and nutritional quality.Based on the analysis of plant height,ear length,1000-grain weight,grain hardness,effective tiller number and other important agronomic traits,it was found that the 1000-grain weight of hybrid progenies increased from 14.59 g-28.78 g of parents to 20.33 g-33.90 g,and the grain hardness of hybrid progenies was 10.50 kg-13.50 kg,which was higher than that of parents,and there was a certain correlation between hardness and starch content.Although the panicle length of hybrid progeny was not changed obviously,the number of spikelets and the density of panicle type increased.The results of color difference analysis showed that rice flour was similar to its parent in black and white,red-green and blue-yellow color space.The results showed that the aroma and cooking quality of hybrid progenies were also higher than those of their parents,which were related to the reducing sugar content.Further study on nutritional quality showed that 409 with higher carotenoid content was obtained,which reached 3.72 μg/g.the starch content of 409 was increased significantly by hybridization,and the highest starch content was 82.70%.The protein content of progenies ranged from 37.98 mg/g to 90.36 mg/g,and the reducing sugar content was 0.20%-0.54%.The variation of anthocyanin content was different in the hybrid progenies harvested by different cross combinations.In order to further increase the content of Pro Vitamin A in rice,IPI gene in carotenoid metabolism pathway was transferred into local high yield rice varieties.Two transgenic positive plants were obtained by PCR detection,and the positive transformation rate was 22.22%.This study laid a foundation for breeding new rice varieties with good quality,multi resistance and nutrition.
