The electronic nose system is a portable intelligent electronic detection system developed based on the biological olfactory system,which can quickly identify and detect complex gases and volatile substances.Traditional methods for detecting gas types,such as laser spectroscopy,precision instrument analysis,and sensory recognition,are not applicable when the environment is more dangerous and complex.Compared with traditional gas detection methods,electronic noses have been widely used to identify different types of things.At present,farms produce a large amount of odors,which seriously endanger the health of livestock and poultry and hinder the production efficiency of farms.To improve production efficiency,it is necessary to monitor its environment in real time and obtain more information to quickly deal with problems that arise.For obtaining information with traditional instruments,it is not only difficult to prepare samples,but also unable to monitor the environment in real time.Therefore,this article aims to independently develop an electronic nose system that is different from traditional gas detection methods.And provides a powerful way and solution for solving the above problems.The system developed in this paper is divided into three parts: hardware design,software design and pattern recognition.The nasal cavity of the system is simulated and simulated by fluid simulation software,and then the gas sensor array of the entire system is optimized.The main control circuit board of this system uses the high-performance STM32F407ZGT6 chip as the core control device,and the corresponding hardware circuit is designed,which includes the design of the power supply module,the design of the motor drive module,and the design of the serial communication module.The acquisition module adopts the hardware circuit design combining traditional semiconductor gas sensor and highprecision AD conversion chip ADS1256.The software design of this system mainly includes:MCU program design,host computer program design based on Lab VIEW software and realization of pattern recognition algorithm based on MATLAB software.After assembling the hardware system and performing circuit tests on it.In order to verify the feasibility of the system.the system recognizes two different quality liquor samples and can accurately identify different quality liquors.The feasibility of the system was proved.Finally,the system was applied to the breeding farm.The environment of the chicken house after ventilation was used as the research object.Pattern recognition was used to distinguish the environmental information of the breeding farm after the ventilation.Onsite environmental quality is regulated.The research results show that this system can well distinguish the environmental information of different time periods in the ventilated chicken house,and the recognition accuracy rate is 96.6667%,which verifies the practical and reliable performance of the system built by this project in the farm.
