In Wuchuan County,Hohhot City,Inner Mongolia,there is not only soil erosion,but also serious wind erosion and dry land desertification.The ecological environment has deteriorated seriously due to unreasonable farming and overgrazing.This research takes typical plantations in Wuchuan County(Pine Pinus tabulaeformis forest,pure seabuckthorn forest,pure Caragana korshinskii forest,Pinus tabulaeformis + Mongolica + mountain apricot mixed forest,Pinus tabulaeformis + Caragana korshinskii + mountain apricot mixed forest)as the research object.Combining ecological theory and economic theory,using ArcGIS 10.2 software to study the spatial distribution characteristics,soil physical and chemical properties and suitability evaluation of pure forests and mixed forests at different forest ages in Wuchuan County,and compare the ecological service functions of different artificial forests differences,exploring how to maximize the benefits of plantation forests in Wuchuan County.In this regard,the main findings of this thesis are as follows:(1)Comparing the five representative plantations,the Chinese pine forest grows relatively well and covers a larger area than the other four forest lands.The forest land has the highest coverage in the range of 0~5° slope.It belongs to the young forest group and is located on the shady slope.And its canopy closure is in the interval [0-10].The distribution of forest types in this area is uneven,the quality of forest land is uneven,the structure of forest land is single,the pure forest area of Pinus tabulaeformis is relatively high,and the area of seabuckthorn forest land and the span of coverage area are relatively small.(2)Among the physical and chemical properties of soil under different forest types,all indexes of Pinus tabulaeformis + Pinus sylvestris + Prunus sylvestris are relatively high in content,followed by pure Pinus tabulaeformis forests.It shows that Pinus sylvestris and Pinus tabulaeformis are more likely to accumulate organic matter in the soil,and the soil structure of the mixed forest is more conducive to the absorption and utilization of nutrients than the soil of other pure forests;the highest content of soil available nitrogen in the pure forest is the Pinus tabulaeformis forest(Pure forest),which plays a vital role in soil improvement.There is a significant negative correlation between litter storage and maximum water holding rate under different forest types,and it is related to litter natural water holding capacity,natural water holding capacity,maximum water holding rate,water storage capacity,maximum interception capacity,effective interception capacity,there is no obvious relationship.(3)The comprehensive evaluation index of the five plantations in Wuchuan County is at a medium level,indicating that these five plantations are generally suitable in Wuchuan County.The comprehensive index is Pinus tabulaeformis + Pinus sylvestris + mixed apricot forest(0.7402)> Pinus tabulaeformis + Cinnamomum camphora Pinus sylvestris + mountain apricot mixed forest(0.7222)>Pine tabulaeformis(0.6972)> Caragana korshinskii(0.6846)>Seabuckthorn(0.6806).It shows that the mixed suitability is stronger,followed by the arbor Pinus tabulaeformis,and then the shrub Caragana and sea buckthorn. |
