This experiment was conducted to study the effects of different dosages of Sophora alopecuroides on growth performance, rumen fermentation and rumen microbial diversity of sheep.Twenty Dumont lambs weighing 25.73± 17 kg were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups with 5 replicates in each group. The control group(CG)was fed TMR basal diet with concentrate to forage ratio of 7:3,and the TG1,TG2 and TG3 were added with0.1%,0.3% and 0.5% Sophora alopecuroides on the basic diet respectively. The results are as follows(1)Compared with the control group, adding different doses of Sophora alopecuroides to the high concentrate diet significantly increased the rumen acetic acid, propionic acid,TVFA concentrations and the ratio of ethylene to propylene in TG1,TG2 and TG3 groups(P < 0.05),significantly decreased the rumen ammonia nitrogen concentration(P < 0.05),and significantly increased the rumen p H of TG3 groups(P < 0.05);The whole period average daily gain of TG1 group was higher than that of the control group(P = 0.08),significantly higher than that of TG3 group(P < 0.05),the feed to weight ratio of TG1 group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05),extremely significantly lower than that of TG3 group(P < 0.01).(2)For rumen bacteria,at phylum level,Sophora alopecuroides had the trend of increasing the abundance of Bacteroidetes and decreasing the abundance of Firmicutes(P =0.08);At the genus level,Ruminococcus and phocaeicola abundances in the rumen of the three experimental groups were significantly higher than those of the control group(P <0.05),Clostridia and Candida hepaticola abundances in TG1 and TG2 groups were significantly higher(P < 0.05);For rumen Anaerobic fungi, there were no significant differences in phylum level and genus level between the control group and the experimental groups(P > 0.05).(3)Compared with the control group, the General bacteria in the rumen of TG3 group was significantly increased(P < 0.01),and the number of Anaerobic fungi in the rumen of TG1 and TG3 group was significantly increased(P < 0.05);The number of R-albus in TG2 group was significantly increased compared with that of the control group(P < 0.01);Compared with TG1,TG2 and the control group, the number of R-flavefaciens in TG3 group increased significantly(P < 0.01);Compared with control groups, the number of Sruminantium in TG1 group increased significantly(P<0.05);the number of rumen Streptococcus bovis in TG1 group decreased significantly(P<0.01),and the number of rumen Streptococcus bovis in TG2 group decreased significantly(P<0.05);The number of Methanogens in the rumen of TG3 group was significantly decreased with other groups(P<0.01);There was no significant difference in the number of F-succinogenes,Lactobacillus,Ruminobacter amylophilus,Prevotella brevis and Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens in the rumen between the experimental groups and the control group(P>0.05). |
