Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya is an important pest which caused serious damage to the Begonia. In order to find out the damaging regularity of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya on begonia under different environmental factors.Five different environmental factors which include the different positions, varieties, times, climates and years of begonia were selected to investigate in this paper.and the number of insect populations on begonia and the damage level of begonia leaves were recorded. From June 2018 to October 2019,the trial was conducted with a fixed-point and fixed-plant on the occurrence of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya outdoor. The results showed that Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya occurs on a large scale for 2 to 3 times throughout the year when the average temperature is more than 29 ℃,the number of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya will increase significantly outdoors. In the same year the number of insect populations in the four varieties of begonia reduced when the air humidity rose. When the air humidity fell, the number of insect populations rose. There is a negative correlation between the population density of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya and air humidity. In 2018,Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya had the largest amount in the east and west of the four kinds of begonias. But in 2019,the population of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya is apparently more than last year in the four directions.Meanwhile the number of upper insect populations on the four begonia varieties was basically greater than the lower part of the insect populations, indicating that Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya is heliophilous and tends to feed on the upper young leaves.Through the determination of the nutrient content of the leaves of 4 kinds of crabapples in different periods,it was found that on May 21,there was a significant difference between the soluble sugar content of leaves in the upper east and west of Malus halliana and the soluble sugar content of other directions leaves(P<0.05),the soluble sugar content of leaves in other directions was not significantly different(P>0.05);the protein content of the same varieties begonia leaves in different directions was not significantly different(P>0.05),among the protein content of Malus halliana leaves was higher. The protein content of the Malus micromalus cv.“American” and Chaenomeles speciosa was lower, and Chaenomeles japonica had the lowest protein content;the amino acid content of the begonia leaves in different varieties and directions was not significantly different(P>0.05),and the amino acid content of Chaenomeles japonica leaves was higher. The amino acid content of Malus halliana and Chaenomeles speciosa were lower, and the amino acid content of Malus micromalus cv.“American” was the lowest. On July 6,there was a significant difference in the soluble sugar content of Chaenomeles japonica and Malus halliana leaves in the upper east and lower north(P<0.05),while the soluble sugar content of leaves in other directions was not significantly different(P>0.05);there was no significant difference in the protein content of the begonias leaves in different directions(P>0.05).Among them, the protein content of Chaenomeles japonica leaves was higher, the protein content of Malus halliana and Chaenomeles speciosa were lower, and the protein content of Malus micromalus cv.“American” was the lowest;there was a significant difference in the amino acid content of Malus halliana leaves in the lower east and the other directions(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the amino acid content of the begonia leaves in different varieties and different directions(P>0.05),the contents of amino acids in the four varieties leaves were similar. On September 20,there was no significant difference in the soluble sugar content of the begonia leaves in all directions(P>0.05);there was no significant difference in the protein content of the begonia leaves in different directions(P>0.05);there was no significant difference in the amino acid content of the begonia leaves in different directions(P>0.05).The soluble sugar content of Chaenomeles japonica and Malus halliana leaves were higher in each period, while the soluble sugar content of Malus micromalus cv.“American” was lower, and the soluble sugar content of Chaenomeles speciosa was the lowest.Except for Chaenomeles speciosa, the damage index of begonia leaves was positively correlated with the content of soluble sugar, and the correlation was extremely significant;the protein content of the leaves of different varieties begonia in each period was close.Except for Chaenomeles speciosa, the damage index of the leaves of begonia in each period was positively correlated with its protein content, and the correlation was significant.Excluding the lowest amino acid content in the leaves of Malus micromalus cv.“American”on May 21,the amino acid contents of the leaves of different varieties begonia in other periods were similar.Except for Malus micromalus cv.“American”,the damage index of the leaves of other varieties begonia was negatively correlated with the amino acid content of the leaves, and the correlation was not Strong. In this paper, the adult of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya was cultured in laboratory, and different numbers of adult were placed on a fresh begonia leaf.Keep begonia leaves fresh, record the daily amount of insect feces and damage levels of begonia leaves. The results showed that the number of Stephanitis Nashi Esaki et Takaya had a very significant correlation with the damage index under culture conditions(P<0.01).
