Broussonetia papyrifera(L)Vent.is a new type of high-protein woody feed.It can also be used as a supplement to mixed diets to improve the nutrient content and palatability of the feed.At present, there are few researches involving the processing and utilization modes of hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera. In order to explore the influence of cutting height and sampling position on the nutrient composition and feeding value of hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera, using Broussonetia papyrifera as the raw material,we analysis the conventional nutrient components, namely crude protein(CP),ether extract(EE),crude fiber(CF),crude ash(Ash),neutral detergent fiber(NDF),and acid detergent fiber(ADF)of the dry forage of the whole plant, leaves and stems harvested at different cutting heights(80 cm,100 cm,120 cm,140 cm,160cm).After that,we make nutrition quality evaluation. The test results are as follows:(1)The average yields of the three fresh grass under different cutting heights were between 3685.79kg-4425.22kg/mu,and there were significant differences in the yields of each group(P < 0.05).(2)In the fresh plant samples of hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera, different plant sampling heights have significant effects on the conventional nutrient components. The crude protein content of each hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera gradually decreased with the increase of the growth height. The average crude protein content of the three samples was 23.97%,22.71%,20.89%,19.38% and 18.29% at the growth height of80-160 cm.,which is a significant difference(P < 0.05).The ether extract content of hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples increased with the increase of growth height, and generally showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. The ether extract content of the three fresh Broussonetia papyrifera samples reached the maximum when the plant height was 120 cm,which were 4.01%,4.23% and 4.32% respectively. When the plant height is 160 cm,it drops to the minimum, which are 2.29%,2.45%and 3.06% respectively. The content of crude fiber, crude ash, neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber in each sample showed a certain upward trend with the increase of growth height. The average content of crude fiber of the sample was the lowest when the plant was 80 cm in height,7.91%;when the plant height was the highest, the average content was the highest, reaching 12.22%.The crude ash content of the samples from high to low was 14.97%,14.42%,13.29%,11.25% and 11.25%.The crude ash content of the 160 cm plant sample was significantly different from that of the 120 cm,100cm and 80 cm height samples(P < 0.05).(3)In this experiment,in the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples of each growth height, the crude protein content of the leaves reached up to 23.36%,which was significantly higher than the other two groups of samples(P < 0.05).In the samples collected and separated stems and leaves when the plant height is 80 cm,the crude protein content of the leaves and the whole plant sample is not significantly different. The crude protein content in the stalk is significantly different from the former two(P < 0.05).It is respectively 12.75% and 12.91% lower than the whole plant and leaf samples. And this rule can be found in the data of three parallel samples. The ether extract content of the whole plant, deciduous stalks and leaves of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing with the increase of growth height, and the average ether extract content of the three groups of sampling sites were respectively 3.25%,1.57%,and 3.43%,showing a significant difference(P < 0.05).The crude fiber content of the whole plant, deciduous stalks and leaves of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples showed a trend of increasing with the increase of growth height, and the average crude fiber content of the three groups of sampling sites were respectively 10.13%,24.14%,and14.89%,showing a significant difference(P < 0.05).The crude ash content of the whole plant, deciduous stalks and leaves of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples showed a trend of increasing with the increase of growth height, and the average crude ash content of the three groups of sampling sites were respectively13.01%,4.66%,and 17.98%,showing a significant difference(P < 0.05).The neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber content of the whole plant, deciduous stalks and leaves of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera samples showed a trend of increasing with the increase of growth height, and the average neutral detergent fiber content of the three groups of sampling sites were respectively 51.32%,75.63%,and37.75%;the average acid detergent fiber content of the three groups of sampling sites were respectively 30.88%,49.09%,and 20.67%,showing significant differences between the sampling groups for each part(P < 0.05).(4)Based on the membership function value method of fuzzy mathematics, through comprehensive evaluation of the conventional nutrient components of different growth heights and different utilization parts of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera,it is concluded that the best utilization height of the hybrid Broussonetia papyrifera is 120 cm.
