Effects Of Tea Tree Oil On Growth Performance,immune Function And Intestinal Development Of Fengyan Black Bone Chicken

Tea tree oil,as a plant essential oil,has natural antibacterial,anti-inflammatory,anti-virus,anti-tumor,and anti-oxidation immunity enhancing effects.As a kind of local chicken,Fengyan black bone chicken needs more scientific breeding to promote the development of local economy.In order to provide experimental basis for the addition of tea tree oil in the diet of Fengyan black bone chicken,the effects of tea tree oil on the growth performance,immune function and intestinal function of Fengyan black bone chicken were studied.In this experiment,3 day-old Fengyan black bone chicken was selected.The first group was blank group,fed with basic diet,the second group was positive group,supplemented with oregano oil according to 100 mg/kg in basic diet;the third group was low dose group,supplemented with tea tree oil according to 50 mg/kg in basic diet;the fourth group was medium dose group,supplemented with tea tree oil according to 100mg/kg in basic diet;the fifth group was high dose group,supplemented with 200 mg/kg tea tree oil in basic diet was added for 28 days.During the experiment,the body weight,material consumption and dead Amoy quantity of chicks were recorded,and the material weight ratio and dead Amoy rate were calculated;on the 14th and 28th day of the experiment,blood was collected to measure serum biochemical indexes,main organs were collected to calculate organ index,chest muscle,leg muscle and abdominal fat were collected to measure chest muscle rate,leg muscle rate and abdominal fat rate;serum complement C3,C4,cytokine,immunoglobulin and antibody content were measured;The length,weight,villus height and crypt depth of small intestine were measured,and the T lymphocyte subsets of small intestine mucosa were measured by flow cytometry.The results show that:1.Tea tree oil can improve the average body weight and average daily gain of Fengyan black bone chickens,improve feed rate and slaughter performance;improve spleen index and lung index of Fengyan black bone chickens;increase serum TP content and decrease serum BUN content;reduce serum MDA content,increase serum T-AOC and T-SOD content,and enhance the antioxidant capacity of Fengyan black bone chickens.2.Tea tree oil can increase the organ index of spleen,thymus and bursa of Fabricius in Fengyan black bone chicken,increase the level of Nd and H9 antibody in serum,and increase the content of C3,C4,IgG,IgA and IgM in serum in low dose group at 28 d,increase the ratio of CD3~+CD4~+/CD3~+CD8~+in intestinal T lymphocyte subpopulation,and improve intestinal immunity.3.Tea tree oil can increase duodenal weight,index and villus crypt ratio of Fengyan black bone chicken;increase jejunum and ileum weight,length,index and villus crypt ratio.In conclusion,tea tree oil can improve the growth performance and antioxidant capacity of Fengyan black bone chicken,enhance the immune level of the body and intestines of Fengyan black bone chicken,and promote the intestinal development of Fengyan black bone chicken.
