A total of 90 young growing pigs(BW of 25 ± 2.5 kg)were assigned to 1of the 3 treatments, pigs had free access to feed(FA pigs),pigs were provided their feed allowance between 0800 h to 2000h(TRF pigs)and pigs were fed 2times daily(M2 pigs)to determine the influences of feeding regimens on growth performance, gastrointestinal microbiota composition, and bile acids profile. The results showed that ADFI was significantly decreased in M2 pigs when compared with that in FA pigs(p <0.05).Feed to gain ratio in M2 pigs was significantly decreased when compared with that in TRF pigs and FA pigs.Relative abundance of Kiritimatiellaeota in TRF pigs was lower than that in FA pigs(p <0.05).FA pigs had lower serum GUDCA than that in M2 pigs(p<0.05).TRF pigs had greater serum HDCA than that in FA pigs(p <0.05).It can be concluded that less meal frequency increases feed efficiency and decrease feed intake. The changes in gastrointestinal microbiota composition and bile acids profile may involve in this process. |
