Effects Of Low Accumulation Varieties Combined With Foliar Control Agents On Safety Production Of Vegetable Crops In Cadmium Polluted Greenhouse

Heavy metal pollution in protected vegetable fields seriously affects the production of vegetable crops and food safety.It is a hot topic to realize the safe utilization of medium and light heavy metal polluted vegetable fields by agronomic regulation technology,but there is still a lack of replicable and easy to promote technology mode.Therefore,field experiments were conducted to study the effects of low Cd accumulation varieties and foliar inhibitors on the safety of vegetable production in a typical cadmium(Cd)moderately polluted vegetable field.The results can be summaried as following:1.The Cd concentration and nutritional quality of 23 main celery cultivars were compared in the greenhouse with moderate Cd pollution.The results showed that there were significant genotypic differences in biomass,Cd concentration and nutritional traits,and Cd concentration in edible parts was positively correlated with cellulose content,but negatively correlated with vitamin C content.The biomass of red celery(HQ),California King celery(JZ),golden celery(JH)and mountain celery(SQ)were significantly higher than other varieties.The Cd concentration in edible parts of 23varieties ranged from 0.53 mg·kg-1DW to 2.56 mg·kg-1DW,and the Cd concentration in SQ was the lowest.Meanwhile,SQ had the lowest Cd transport coefficient(TF)and bioaccumulation coefficient(BCF),followed by Liangfeng Yuqin(LF),and the chlorophyll content and vitamin C content of the two varieties were higher,while the cellulose content was lower.Therefore,SQ and LF were selected as the low Cd accumulation varieties.2.Using the low cadmium accumulation variety LF as material,the effects of seven kinds of foliar control agents on celery safety production were compared.It was found that foliar control agents could reduce Cd concentration in edible parts by 7.6%-19.7%,and increase the contents of soluble protein,soluble sugar and vitamin C by3.2%-11.4%,3.4%-8.6%and 2.4%-11.8%,respectively.Among them,the effects of three kinds of self-made foliar control agents,multiple compound control agent(FH),enhanced silicon zinc control agent(SIZN+),enhanced zinc control agent(ZN+)and commercial nano silicon fertilizer(SINA)were better than other foliar control agents,which were the screened optimal foliar control agents.3.Eggplant vegetables with relatively weak cadmium accumulation capacity were used as materials to study the effects of oliar control agents on two pepper and eggplant varieties.It was found that there were significant genotypic differences in Cd concentration in fruits and leaves of pepper and eggplant.Pepper variety Jinyu 2313(JY)and eggplant variety Zilong Changqi(ZL)were relatively low Cd accumulation varieties.Spraying foliar control agents could effectively reduce the Cd concentration in the edible parts of pepper and eggplant,and the Cd concentration in the edible parts of pepper low Cd accumulation variety JY decreased by 4.6%-23.6%.Among the four kinds of foliar control agents,the effect of multi-component compound control agent is the best.Foliar control agent also significantly increased the yield of JY,chlorophyll content of eggplant leaves and soluble protein content of edible part of Gangjiao(GJ).In conclusion,the Cd concentration in edible parts of low accumulation celery varieties SQ and LF was 79.3%and 61.7%lower than that of the highest variety OQ.Spraying foliar control agent could further reduce Cd concentration in edible parts of LF by 7.6%-19.7%.Spraying foliar control agent combined with low accumulation varieties could reduce Cd concentration in edible parts of pepper and eggplant by47.2%-57.7%and 44.3%-47.0%,respectively.The results showed that both low Cd accumulation varieties and foliar control agents could effectively reduce the heavy metal content in edible parts of vegetable crops,and the combination of the low Cd accumulation variety of pepper with foliar control agents was the safe production technology pattern of vegetable crops in moderate Cd comtainated greenhouse.
