| As a developing country,China has always had a dilemma between economic development and environmental protection. If the government gave priority to economic development,it will inevitably create environmental problems. In fact,China nowadays is facing the consequences of the extensive economy in its early stages of development. However,if the government focused on environmental protection,it will inevitably slow down economic development to a certain extent, weaken China’s advantage in the world market and reduce the GDP growth, which will have a huge impact on China’s economy as a whole. Then forest resources play an irreplaceable role not only in mitigating global warming and mitigating the greenhouse effect, but also in improving the global climate and environment, maintaining soil and water conservation, protecting biodiversity and improving the regional ecological environment. It can be said that human beings are inextricably linked to the forest resources. It is mentioned here that forest resources have the direct economic value and ecological value. The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of economic development on the economic value of forest resources.First of all, economic development explores the direct economic value of forest resources, which is based on the EKC model. And we use the fixed effect method and the GMM method to calculate the relationship.Secondly,we study the impact of economic development on the ecological value of forest resources, take carbon sink as an example. The article finds that economic development has an impact on the economic value of forest resources. For its direct economic value, the impact is U-inverted relatonship. This means that the initial economic development will have a negative impact on the direct economic value of forests, and when it reaches a certain level,it will have a positive impact. For its ecological value,it is influenced by the industrial structure. |
