In this study, the Cordyceps Substrate was used as the material, analysis of general nutrients, minerals, vitamin and amino acid content, the effects of dietary of Cordyceps Substrate on rumen fermentation and digestibility of sheep were investigated. Two diets with roughage and concentrate ratios of 80:20(roughage type)and 60:40(concentrate type),the gas production kinetics of the compound concentrate was studied by replacing the Cordyceps Substrate with the proportion of 0%(control),5%,10%,15%and 20%.In order to improve the added value of Cordyceps Substrate in feed resources, the effects of 20%ratio of Cordyceps Substrate on performance and meat quality of sheep were studied. The main results are as follows:(1)The Cordyceps Substrate has high nutritional value, rich in a variety of vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids.Cordyceps Substrate TL,CP,ASH,NDF,ADF,CF,and ADL were 1.47%,15.22%,1.33%,18.28%,10.30%,5.54%,0.57%,respectively.Cordyceps Substrate has high constant elementl and trace elements, the main elements included phosphorus(P)and the highest content was 343 mg/100 g.The zinc(Zn)content of trace elements was the highest at 14.9mg/100 g.Cordyceps Substrate is rich in vitamin A,which reaches 266.59±2.01 mg/100 g.The total amount of amino acids and essential amino acids in the Cordyceps Substrate are 98.50mg/g and 36.60mg/g,respectively;umami-flavor amino acids include alanine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid and glycine content is 39.20mg/g.,the ratio of essential amino acids to total amino acids is 37.15%.(2)Two diets were set as roughage and compound concentrate with a ratio of 80:20(roughage type)and 60:40(concentrate type),respectively. In vitro digestion experiment was carried out by replacing the compound concentrate with basal feed with 0%,5%,10%,15%and 20%of compound concentrate.Result show that, with the increase of the proportion of Cordyceps Substrate added, the total gas production increased gradually after continuous fermentation for 24 h;The p H of fermentation in the 80:20 and 60:40 rations was between 6.17 and 6.94,the concentrations of acetic acid, propionic acid and total acid in fermentation broth were increased with the increase of the supplemental ratio of Cordyceps Substrate, and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The in vitro dry matter digestibility(IVDMD)of experimental groups was increased with the supplemental proportion of Cordyceps Substrate increasing, and there was significant difference among all treatments(P<0.05).(3)Under the same feeding condition of alfalfa and silage, the dry matter intake(DMI)of the control and experiment groups were 1.43±0.08 kg·d-1 and 1.39±0.02 kg·d-1,respectively.The proportion of DMI in sheep’s metabolic body weight was 1.43%and 1.39%in the two groups respectively, with significant differences(P<0.05).The average DMI and weight gain of the sheep in the Cordyceps Substrate supplementation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the dressing percent was slightly higher than that of the control group but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The average daily weight gain of the Cordyceps Substrate and control groups reached 0.220kg and 0.210 kg,no significant difference between the each group(P>0.05).There was no difference in sheep body height, chest circumference, carcass weight,GR value and eye muscle area in the Cordyceps Substrate addition group(P>0.05).No difference was found in the results of muscle color measurement(P>0.05).In conclusion, the Cordyceps Substrate is a feed raw material with high moisture content, rich in nutrients such as protein and total lipid, and functional nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The best digestibility was achieved when 20%of concentrate in the 80:20 diet was completely replaced by the Cordyceps Substrate. In addition, the addition of 20%Cordyceps Substrate in the diet of sheep can increase the weight gain and reduce the cost of weight gain, but it has no negative effect on sheep slaughter rate and meat quality. |
