Abstract/Summary:
Dog behavior is a comprehensive response of neurons and neuronal circuits composed of neurons to external stimuli,Inherent and acquired. All behaviors are the result of a combination of genetics and environment.Behavioral research is very important in dog breeding and breeding programs, obedience behavior is a beneficial biological status of dogs,It is of great significance to study this behavior from the molecular level. At present, research on specific mental illnesses or behaviors of specific dogs has found that they are affected by some genes, and not much is known about the genes and loci that affect obedience,Therefore,we identify the genetic variation in obedience which is the dominant police behavior. We first obtained 70 candidate SNPs related to behaviors such as obedience through genome-wide association analysis and literature review, and then performed SNP typing detection on the SNPs of 158 police dog samples with obedience behavior test scores. The genotype results obtained are correlated with the police dog obedience behavior score, and further analysis and processing are performed,Finally obtained and calculated the genotype frequency and behavior score distribution of 42 loci and 143 individual police dog individuals,as well as the correlation coefficient and Pearson correlation coefficient between genotype and compliance score. When using ANOVA analysis of variance to calculate the correlation coefficient,if the variety is used as a covariate, there are four loci(chr38:180,896,690,chr38:18,088,578,chr16:54,087,058,chr18:32,591,848),which are significantly correlated with behavioral scores(p<0.05),if gender is used as a covariate, there are two loci(chr14:33,244,359,chr18:32,591,848),and the correlation with the behavior score is significant(p<0.05),In the state of breed and sex interaction, there were two loci(chr14:33,244,359,chr18:32,591,848),and the correlation with the behavior score is significant(p<0.05),it shows that breed and gender not only affect the phenotype respectively, but also may affect the phenotypic result when the two are covariates in an interactive state.Meanwhile, when calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient, the results show, the four sites in the site(chr38:180,896,690,chr38:18,088,578,chr16:54,087,058,chr18:32,591,848)and behavior scores highly correlated(R ≥ 0.6),it shows that there is a link between the obedience score and genotype, and this link is breed and gender specific. These four loci are located in the LMXIA,GLT-1,and ENSCAFG000000251 genes.Studies have shown that these genes are related to behavioral traits such as captivity and obedience,as well as schizophrenia,obsessive-compulsive disorder and other diseases. Therefore, these sites are expected to be designed as effective molecular markers for selection. In this study,we studied dog obedience behavior at the molecular level and found that SNP polymorphism of GLT-1 and LMXIA genes may be related to obedience behavior. It is an important means to study dog behavior genetics and can better understand the influence of genes on behavioral traits.
