Over the past 30 years,aquaculture is the fastest growing part of global food production,with a growing rate of 8%per year.Aquatic products have become the third largest source of food protein after cereals and milk,and more than 15%of the world’s 7 billion people’s animal protein intake comes from that.Freshwater fishery products are important sources of protein in Chinese diet and play an important role in the composition of Chinese national food.Freshwater aquaculture accounts for 70%of the world’s total production of freshwater aquaculture and 96%of China’s fish farming,provides 30%of animal protein for Chinese people.The green,efficient and high-quality development of freshwater aquaculture industry has attracted sustained attention of whole Chinese society.In the current paper,the basic data of aquaculture environmental factors and changes of culture modes were collected by monitoring the different indicators of environmental,structural and production factors of different culture modes in Heilongjiang,Yangtze,Pearl River and Yellow River basins.Through the comparative analysis of the same culture model in different river basins,the internal laws and influencing elements of environmental factors,changes of culture model and regional culture structure were clarified.The results are as follows:1.Mainly focusing on pond culture,while taking into account of cage and industrial culture,48 monitoring stations had been set up in the main aquaculture production areas of Heilongjiang,Yangtze,Pearl and Yellow River basins.Fifty-one monitoring indicators were selected for three major categories of factors,including culture structure,environment and production.Among these indicators,28 were for culture environment,12 were for culture structure and 11 were for culture production factors.2.The collection procedures and methods of water quality,sediment,plankton,benthic animal samples and data survey were refined to effectively ensure the quality of monitoring data.According to the requirement of monitoring,the data standard of monitoring description criterion was formulated,and principles and methods of monitoring description criterion,data standard and data quality control criterion were proposed.3.According to the data information and research needs of monitoring stations,the collection and entry criteria of monitoring data of main aquaculture modes in typical river basins were formulated.Based on the needs of data collection,the corresponding data sets were set up,including tables of the basic information of specific monitoring stations and monitoring data.4.The monitoring data collection system of the main aquaculture modes in typical river basins was designed,and the monitoring data collection procedure was put forward.According to the procedure and the setting of management authority,roles in data acquisition and information system were divided into four levels.Based on the setting of hierarchical positioning,data reporting and audit authority,specific manuals were edited for each level of users.5.A total of 6050 monitoring indicators were obtained from 39 monitoring stations of pond,cage and industrial culture modes.Among these collected indicators,including 2085 indicators of culture environment,481 indicators of culture structure and 402 indicators of culture production factors.The representative monitoring indicators of culture environment,structure and production were selected to perform comparative analysis of the same culture model in different river basins.6.Under the same culture mode,there were differences in representative monitoring indicators of different aquaculture areas in Heilongjiang,Yangtze,Pearl and Yellow River basins.The differences were varied according to the natural environment,culture technology and production inputs.Whether within or between river basins,the factors of culture environment,culture structure and culture production were interacting,causing and effecting each other.In conclusion,the basic and long-term monitoring data acquisition and analysis of freshwater aquaculture based on system design and information technology is an important part of fishery scientific data.For the realization of information,precision,intelligent management and big data prediction and analysis of freshwater aquaculture,more monitoring data are needed to accumulate effectively.And thus,the scientific analysis and reasonable prediction of freshwater aquaculture models can be promoted.
