| Heilongjiang Province is the largest province in China in terms of corn cultivation area, and corn plays a significant role in food production in Heilongjiang Province and even in the country. The main problem facing the maize industry in Heilongjiang Province today is the monoculture planting method. The experiment was conducted at the Jiamusi Branch of Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, using the new maize variety Kenwo No.3 as the test material, and a split-zone design was adopted, with the main zone being the planting method and the secondary zone being the density.Three planting methods were set in the main zone,P1,P2 and P3,and three planting density levels were set in the secondary zone,D1,D2 and D3,to study the effects of different planting methods and densities on the growth and development and yield of Kenwo No.3,so as to determine the suitable planting methods and densities for Kenwo No.3 and provide a theoretical and practical basis for planting in the spring maize zone of the third cumulative temperature zone in Heilongjiang Province. The main research results are as follows:1.The planting method and density had significant effects on the dry weight of maize leaves. As the reproductive process progressed, the dry weight of single plant leaves and the dry weight of group leaves reached the maximum value in the whole reproductive period 15 days after spatulation.Under the same density conditions, the dry weight of individual leaves and the dry weight of group leaves reached the maximum under the planting method of autumn turning large monopoly and double rows.Under the same planting method, with the increase of density, the leaf dry weight of single plant and group leaf dry weight showed a gradual decrease and reached the maximum at 70,000 plants/hm2.It can be seen that the dry weight of single leaves and the dry weight of group leaves of Kenwo No.3 reached the maximum at 70,000 plants/hm2 in the treatment of autumn turning large monopoly double row,34.64g and 242.46g respectively.2.The planting method and density had significant effects on maize leaf area.As the fertility process progressed, the leaf area of single plants and the leaf area of the population reached the maximum value during the whole reproductive period at the spatulation stage.Under the same density condition, the leaf area of single plant and group leaf area reached the maximum under the planting method of autumn turning large monopoly and double rows.Under the same planting method, the leaf area of single plant tended to decrease gradually with the increase of density and reached the maximum at 70,000 plants/hm2.The maximum leaf area of the population was reached at 80,000 plants/hm2.It can be seen that the single leaf area of Kenwo No.3 was maximum at70,000 plants/hm2 with a maximum value of 6505.24 cm2/plant under the treatment of autumn turning large monopoly double rows. The maximum leaf area of the population was 53624.01cm2/m2 under the treatment of 90,000 plants/hm2 autumn-turned large-monopoly double-row.3.Planting method and density had significant effects on photosynthetic characteristics of maize. The photosynthetic potential, specific leaf weight, photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content all reached the maximum under the same density condition under the planting method of autumn-turned large monopoly double-row.Under the same planting method, photosynthetic potential, specific leaf weight, photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content tended to decrease gradually with increasing density and reached the maximum at 70,000 plants/hm2.The specific leaf weight, photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content all reached their maximum values 15 days after spatulation under 70,000 plants/hm2 fall-turned large monopoly double row treatment throughout the reproductive period, with maximum values of 5.32 mg/m2,45.81μmol/m2-s and67.98,respectively.4.The planting method and density had significant effects on maize stalk. The stalk bending force, outer skin puncture strength and stalk crushing strength showed a gradual increase as the fertility process progressed.Under the same density conditions, stalk bending force, outer bark puncture strength and stalk crushing strength all reached their maximum values under the fall-turned large monopoly double-row planting method.Under the same planting method, the stalk bending force, outer bark puncture strength and stalk crushing strength content tended to decrease gradually with the increase of density, and reached the maximum value at 70,000plants/hm2.With the increase of density, the plant height and hot position height of maize showed a gradual increase, while the stalk thickness at the 3rd internode at the base of maize showed a decreasing trend with the increase of density. The ANOVA showed that there was a significant difference between density and plant height, hot position height and stem thickness.5.The planting method and density had significant effects on maize yield and quality.Under the same density condition, both yield and quality yield reached the maximum under the planting method of autumn turning large monopoly and double rows.Under the same planting method, yield increased with density and then decreased, reaching a maximum at 80,000 plants/hm2,and when the density was further increased, yield began to decrease.Among the yield components,it can be seen that density has a greater effect on 100-grain weight. In conclusion,Kenwo No.3 showed the best yield, photosynthetic capacity and stalk strength under the 80,000 plants/hm2 fall-turned large monopoly double row treatment. |
