As the current frontier technology,the remote sensing technology is widely used in crop growth monitoring,yield estimation and other aspects because of its easy and extensive access to crop information,diverse access methods,strong timeliness and other characteristics.The paper analyzes the current crop growth monitoring data sources,the coupling effect of remote sensing and agricultural data,modeling methods,factors affecting the accuracy of remote sensing and some other relevant issues.The possible adverse effects of the issues are analyzed and the corresponding solutions are proposed which can provide reference for the improvement and development of the crop remote sensing technology.Taking Jiangsu wheat remote sensing monitoring application based on HJ-CCD image in 2020 as an example,the biomass is selected as the growth parameters of wheat,the reflectance values of corresponding bands on the environmental satellite are extracted and eight different remote sensing vegetation indices are selected.Then the remote sensing indices are combined again by means of difference,ratio and normalization and the correlation analysis between the remote sensing vegetation indices and combinations and agronomic data is carried out.Last the monitoring models of wheat biomass and yield are established and evaluated.The results are as follows.(1)The paper analyzes the remote sensing data sources,the coupling effect of data,the data analysis algorithm,the intelligent degree of the remote sensing monitoring,the correlation between the remote sensing and other technologies,factor variables of monitoring models,the professional basic knowledge of grass-roots personnel,and the support of management departments and proposes the corresponding solutions such as obtaining the data of the same adjacent period,using UAV remote sensing technology,combining with physical models,using new algorithm,combining with other technologies,introducing new variables and strengthening talent training and introduction(2)The paper analyzes the relationship between the biomass of the wheat main growth period and the vegetation indices,which shows that there is a good correlation between the biomass of the wheat main growth period and the combination of the remote sensing vegetation indices.Then the results show that the accuracy of biomass monitoring models of the wheat main growth period based on the combination of remote sensing vegetation indices is better than that of using single vegetation indices.Thus,the remote sensing monitoring thematic maps of northern,central and southern Jiangsu are generated.The analysis shows that the combination of the remote sensing vegetation indices has a good application prospect to monitor the biomass of the main growth period.(3)The paper analyzes the relationship between the wheat yield and the remote sensing vegetation indices,which shows that there is a good correlation between the wheat yield and the combination of the remote sensing vegetation indices.Thus,the remote sensing monitoring thematic maps of northern,central and southern Jiangsu are generated.The analysis shows that the combination of the remote sensing vegetation indices has good application value in monitoring the wheat yield.
