With the process of urbanization and industrialization, heavy metals have caused serious harm to the environment, affecting the life and health of various organisms. In order to investigate the impact of heavy metals, samples were taken from the heavy metal contaminated areas caused by the mine, and the distribution of heavy metal cadmium in the mining area and the transmission of soil-rice stalk-Chilo suppressalis(Walker)were investigated. The effects of heavy metals on the growth, development and reproductive behaviors of Chilo suppressalis were studied using feed and rice feeding methods respectively.(1)Most of the rice paddies in the le ’an river basin are moderately polluted, and the rice paddies in the northern Jiangxi mining area are heavily polluted with cadmium, with a maximum value of 2.003 mg/kg.The enrichment degree of cadmium was higher in each rice pole, and the enrichment coefficient was up to 42.1.Cadmium enrichment was not obvious in Chilo suppressalis.Cadmium content in Chilo suppressalis and rice stem increased first and then decreased with the increase of cadmium content in soil.(2)Feeding the populations of mining area and Nanchang population with rice containing heavy metals and normal rice, forming four groups of treatment. The results showed that heavy metals had an impact on both populations and that the two groups did not behave in the same way under heavy metal stress. The larval stage of feeding the heavy metal-containing rice in the mining area population and Nanchang population was shortened by 3d and 2.35 d,the female pupae weight increased by 18.71 d and 3.31 d,the male pupae weight increased by 15.87 mg and 2.94 mg,the pupal duration was extended, and the sex ratio decreased Feeding the population of Chilo suppressalis population in mining area Chilo suppressalis population in Nanchang by artificially adding cadmium. The results show that cadmium affects the growth and development of the Chilo suppressalis, prolongs the development period, decreases the survival rate.Compared with cadmium-containing feed, the larval stage of female pupa increased by 13.3 days, the sex ratio changed, the number of female moth increased, and the emergence rate decreased by6 %.There was no significant difference in the pupa stage of each treatment group.(3)After eating rice containing cadmium, the courtship behavior of female moths was promoted, the courtship rate increased, the time for courtship to start in the dark period was earlier. In the dark period, the time of courtship was delayed, the duration of peak courtship was shortened, and the highest courtship rate was decreased. The courtship behavior of mine population after eating cadmium-free feed was more active than that after eating cadmium-containing feed, but it was still lower than that of the control group. After the cadmium stress was relieved, the mating activities of the borer population in the mine area returned to normal. After feeding on cadmium-containing rice, the reaction time of the two populations of Chilo suppressalis decreased and the half-course rate increased. The reaction rate of Nanchang population decreased, and the rate of landing to information source decreased, and the behavior of the population in the mining area was the opposite. After long-term exposure to heavy metal cadmium, the population in the mining area showed no significant difference from the control group. |
