Abstract/Summary:
In this study, the raccoon dog was used as the research object. The diets with different bile acid levels were fed to study the effect of different bile acid levels on the production performance of raccoon dogs,so as to screen out the amount of bile acid addition suitable for the raccoon dog growth period and guide production practice. This paper consists of three parts:Part 1: The effect of dietary bile acid level on the growth performance of raccoon dog64 healthy and 50-day-old male raccoon dogs with similar body weight were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups with 16 repetitions in each group and 1raccoon dog in each repetition.During the pre-growth period(growing period),each group of animals was fed a diet based on the diet supplemented with bile acid levels of 0 mg/kg(group I),100 mg/kg(group II),300 mg/kg(group III),500 mg/kg(group IV).The pre-feeding period of the experiment is 10 days, and the formal test period of the pre-growth period is 91 days. The period is from July 4,2019 to October 3,2019.After that,it transitions to the late growth stage(fur-growing period). The trial period is 7 days, the formal test period is 61 days, and the feeding period is from October 10,2019 to December 10,2019.During the feeding experiment, the raccoon dogs were weighed on an empty stomach every 20 days in the morning, and the intake and body weight of each raccoon dog were recorded. The results showed as follows:1)Before 140 days of age,the body weight of each test group was similar(P>0.05).At 160 days of age and 180 days of age,the weight of group II was significantly higher than that of group I(P<0.05).2)Before 140 days of age,the daily gain of each group was similar(P>0.05).At140-160 days of age,the daily gain of group II was significantly higher than that of group I(P<0.05).3)At 100-120 days of age,the Feed/Gaint ratio of group II was significantly lower than that of group I(P<0.01).The Feed/Gaint ratio of the 140-160 day-old test II group was significantly lower than that of the test I group(P<0.05).At 160-180 days of age,the Feed/Gain ratio of group II was significantly lower than that of group IV(P <0.05).Conclusion:Under this test condition, the raccoon dog had better growth performance when the bile acid level before 160 days of age was 100 mg/kg.At160-180 days of age,the raccoon dog has a large body weight when the bile acid addition level is 100 mg/kg,and the feed-to-weight ratio is low.The daily increase of the raccoon dog when the bile acid addition level is 300 mg/kg.Part II: Effects of dietary bile acid levels on nutrient digestibility, nitrogen metabolism and serum biochemical indexes of raccoon dogs during the pre-growth period(growing period)The experimental design is the same as the experimental design in the first part of the growing period. In the mid-term of feeding, from July 26,2019 to July 28,2019,the digestion and metabolism test was carried out using the total feces collection method to determine the digestibility of nutrients and nitrogen metabolism. At the end of the incubation period, blood was collected from the hind limb vein to determine serum biochemical indicators. The results showed as follows:1)The dry matter digestibility of group II was significantly higher than that of group IV(P <0.05).The protein digestibility of group I was significantly higher than that of group IV(P <0.05).The protein digestibility of group II was significantly higher than that of group III(P<0.05).The protein digestibility of group II was significantly higher than that of group IV(P <0.05).Compared with group I,the fat digestibility of group II has an increasing trend.2)The excretion of fecal nitrogen in group II and group I was significantly lower than that in group IV(P <0.05).The nitrogen deposition in group II was significantly higher than that in group IV(P <0.05).3)The UREA of group IV was significantly higher than group I(P <0.01),group III was significantly higher than group I(P <0.05),group IV was significantlyhigher than group II(P <0.05).The TP and ALB of group II,III and IV were significantly higher than group I(P <0.01).ALT in group IV was significantly higher than that in group I(P <0.01),group IV was significantly higher than that in groups II and III(P <0.05).ALP in group III and IV was significantly higher than that in group I(P <0.01),group IV was significantly higher than group II(p <0.05).The fasting blood glucose index GLU in group IV was significantly higher than that in group I(P<0.01).The HDL of Groups III and IV was significantly higher than Group I(P <0.01),Group II was significantly higher than Group I(P <0.05),Group IV was significantly higher than Group II(P <0.05).The LDL of group IV was significantly higher than that of group I(P <0.01),significantly higher than that of group II(P <0.05).The CHO of group III and group IV was significantly higher than that of group I(P <0.01),group II was significantly higher than group I(P <0.05),group IV was significantly higher than group II(P <0.05).TG in group IV was significantly higher than that in groups I and II(P <0.01),and group III was significantly higher than group I(P<0.05).Conclusion:Under this test condition, the raccoon dog had higher dry matter digestibility, protein digestibility, and nitrogen deposition when the bile acid level of the diet was 100 mg / kg,and the animal body absorbed the protein and fat better.Part III: Effects of dietary bile acid levels on nutrient digestibility, nitrogen metabolism, serum biochemical indexes and organ index of raccoon dogs during the late growth stage(fur-growing period)The experimental design is the same as the first part of the winter hair period experimental design.Digestion and metabolism tests are carried out by the method of total feces collection to determine the digestibility of nutrients and indexes of nitrogen metabolism. At the end of the fur-growing period, blood samples were taken from the heart to determine serum biochemical indicators.Determination of fur quality and organ index. The results showed as follows:1)The fat digestibility of the experimental group II was significantly higher than that of the experimental group IV(P <0.05).2)The net protein utilization rate of group II was significantly higher than thatof group IV(P <0.05).3)There was a significant difference in CHO between group IV and group II(P<0.05).TG in group IV was significantly higher than that in groups I,II and III(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between the other serum indicators among the groups.4)There were no significant differences in body length, skin length, and skin board score between the test groups(P>0.05).5)The liver index of group I was significantly different from group II and group IV(P <0.05),and was significantly different from group III(P <0.01).The spleen index of group I was significantly different from group II and group III(P<0.05).The renal index of group I was significantly different from that of group II and group IV(P <0.05),and was significantly different from group III(P <0.01).Conclusion:Under the conditions of this experiment,it was found that the supplemental level of bile acid in the diet was 100-300 mg/kg,and the growth performance of raccoon dog was better, and the liver, kidney and spleen of raccoon dog were better protected.
