| The potato onion has strong resistance to stress,short growth period,high yield,long supply period,rich nutrition and unique flavor,and has attracted more and more attention.But at prese nt,there are few reports on the identification and screening of the excellent varieties of potato onion,the systematic classification of varieties is less,and the basic characteristics of different varieties are not clear,which is not conducive to the popularization and application of potato onion.In this study,69 varieties of potato onion from different regions were planted under the same conditions in the field to observe the difference of agronomic characters.The basic nutritional quality indexes of all varieties of potato onion were analyzed,and 69 germplasm resources of potato onion were classified and evaluated to provide basis for rational utilization of variety resources and breeding of fine varieties.The main results are as follows:According to the investigation of agronomic characters,the difference of agronomic characters among varieties was great.After quantitative definition,69 varieties of potato onion were classified into four categories by cluster analysis:Group I is a bolting varie ty M18,Group II includes 19 varieties,which show high yield growth and good economic market prospect;Group III includes 26 varieties with moderate yield and growth;Group IV includes 23 varieties,which show low yield and poor growth.Single bulb weight and yield per plant are important factors affecting potato onion yield.The M14 single bulb weight was 39.95 g,followed by M30、M41、M37、M44、M01 single bulb weight was more than 20 g,belonging to the larger bulb variety,and the highest yield per plant was 141.67 g,followed by 10 varieties with more than 100 per plant belonging to the high-yield variety.Combined with two factors,M01、M30、M41、M44 single bulb weight is important and the yield per plant is high,which is beneficial to the application in produ ction.By measuring the quality index of each variety,it is found that the content of nutrition components of each variety is quite different,and the comprehensive nutritional quality of 69 potato onions is evaluated by fuzzy mathematics membership funct ion method,M22、M37、M52、M55 have high quality nutrition,it can be used in processing and other fields,and it has the potential to become the quality characteristic and speciaizedl variety.Flavonoids are an important nutrient inpotato onion.The highest extraction rate of total flavonoids from 69 tiller onions was 5.12% in M03 and 2.62% in M09.The correlation analysis of several main agronomic traits and nutritional quality of potato onion showed that: single bulb weight and single plant yield were posit ively correlated with leaf number,plant height and canopy diameter;spherical index was negatively correlated with leaf number,plant height,canopy diameter,single bulb weight and single plant yield and negatively correlated with tiller number.;nutritional quality was positively correlated with leaf number,plant height,single bulb weight and yield,positively correlated with canopy diameter,negatively correlated with spherical index. |
