Peanut is a n important oil and economic crop.Pod size can directly affect peanut yields. Therefore developing molecular markers and costructing linkage genetic map with high density of markers, identifying QTLs related to peanut pods and further exploring specific molecular markers and functional genes are the basis for peanut high-yield molecular breeding. In this study,267 recombinant inbred lines(RIL),derived from a cross between Yueyou92×Xinhuixiaoli were used to identify QTLs for four pod traits, including pod length, pod width, pod thickness and single-pod weight. The main results were as follows.1.Phenotypic analysis showed pod length, pod width, pod thickness and single-pod weight followed the normal distribution.Correlation analysis revealed that pod length, pod width and single-pod weight had significantly positive correlation.2.A total of 2,754,581 SLAF tags with 314-464 bp were obtained by high-throughput sequencing.Among them 8,019 SNP tags were used for constructing a genetic linkage map, covering 20 linkage groups and containing 7,929 SNP markers. The total map distance is 3441.02cM,and the integrity of average distance is 0.5 cM.3.A total of 25 QTLs were detected for pod traits, with 8,4,3 and 10 QTLs for pod length, pod width, pod thickness and 100-pods weight, respectively.Among these QTLs,we payed close attention to 11 intervals including pod length QTLs with 12.51%and 19.45%phenotypic variation on linkage group B04 and B07,pod width QTLs 11.98-20.30%phenotypic variation on linkage group A07,B02 and B09,100-pods weight QTLs 10.44-19.31%phenotypic variation on chromosome A07、A10、B02 and B04 and pod thickness QTLs 11.61%phenotypic variation on chromosome B03。In this study we constructed a SNP genetic linkage map with 7,929 SNP markers and detected QTLs for peanut pods traits including pod length, pod width, pod thickness and 100-pods weight. This study provided with the foundation for cloning important trait genes and for peanut high-yield molecular breeding.
