This study measured species and amounts of alkaloids of Achnatherum inebrians collecting from Alashan prefecture,Inner Mogolia by TLC and GC-MS,and measure LD50by acute toxicity and serum biochemical indicators and changes of pathology of organs to value toxicity of Achnatherum inebrians.The results are as follows:1.Analysis of alkaloids:In order to make clear the species of alkaloids in Achnatherum inebrians,system extraction,TLC and GC-MS have been used to extract and analyse Achnatherum inebrians from Alashan prefecture,Inner Mogolia.Tth results were as follows:acid chloroform part,alkaline chloroform part and alkaline butanol part of Achnatherum inebrians have 3,4 and 2 spots respectively in thin layer;there are 67 species compound in Achnatherum inebrians with 5 alkaloids.They are Methylethulmaleimide,Ethosuximide,Triacetonamine,Erucamide,Sophoridine.The highest concentration of them is Sophoridine,and the relative content of it is 6.447%.2.Acute toxicity test:evaluate the acute toxicity of extracts of Achnatherum inebrians orally by favage.The results indicated that extract of Achnatherum inebrians can not result in acute death of mice.The maxmum dose is 330g/kg.3.Subchronic toxicity test:fodder mixed powder of Achnatherum inebrians were fed to mice to measure the hematological and serological indicators and the changes of organ coefficient while tissue sections was made to observe the histological changes.High dose group Achnatherum inebrians powder dosen’t injure organs obviously.There were plenty of vacuately structure in liver and kidney watching from tissue sections,and kidney tubular lumen was blocked by fluff,sliver cell was velvet,dilated space,and bile duct dysplasia.In start phase,serological indicator ALT,AST,BUN,CRE of high dose group mice were significantly higher than control group,and GLO was significantly lower than control group.All of these indicators returned to normal in last detection.The results indicate that Achnatherum inebrians could injure liver and kidney to a certain degree0,and induce spenatrophy,but could not influence their functions.
