Under the background of comprehensive improvement of territorial space,terri-torial and spatial pattern optimization has become increasingly important.Especially in mountainous areas with more slopes,fewer dams and complex terrain,urban con-struction and agricultural development are limited.Zhaotong is located in a fragile eco-logical environment.There is less land available for construction and development.The contradiction between ecological protection and development is relatively large.At the same time,Zhaotong belongs to the core area of contiguous destitute mountainous area of Wu Meng Mountain,also urbanization is in a period of rapid growth.During the growth period,due to the constraints of resource background conditions and the unrea-sonable development model of human beings,the territory space pattern faces severe challenges.With the help of GIS and Fragstats software,this paper analyzes the evolu-tion characteristics of the territory space pattern of Zhaotong City’s land.Referring to the’Double Evaluation’Guide,the evaluation of the importance of ecological protec-tion is carried out.Evaluated the land space development suitability with the help of Geodetector and multi-factor weighted superposition.Based on the importance evalu-ation of ecological protection and the suitability evaluation of land spatial development,the FLUS model was used to simulate and predict the territorial space pattern of Zhaotong in 2030.Combined with the rigid constraint of’double evaluation’,the con-flict of territorial space pattern was further diagnosed.According to the conflict area,the territory space pattern of Zhaotong City was optimized,and a set of land spatial pattern optimization method system of mountain’pattern analysis-background evalu-ation-simulation prediction-conflict diagnosis-optimization adjustment’was con-structed.The results provide reference for the land spatial management of Zhaotong City.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The analysis of the evolution characteristics of territorial space pattern showed that the transfer characteristics of territorial space pattern in Zhaotong City from 2000to 2015 were as follows:the transfer of agricultural space was greater than the transfer,and the transfer of ecological space and urban space was greater than the transfer.The degree of fragmentation of land space has increased in varying degrees,and the devel-opment intensity has gradually increased.(2)The evaluation results of the importance of ecological protection and the suit-ability of land space development showed that Zhaotong City had prominent ecological status,and the proportion of extremely important areas of ecological protection was30.07%.The suitable areas for agricultural production and urban construction were4550.85km~2 and 689.41km~2 respectively.(3)The simulation results of land spatial pattern show that in the territorial space pattern of Zhaotong City in 2030,the agricultural spatial area was 6498.69km~2,the ecological spatial area was 15809km~2,and the urban spatial area was 139.16km~2.Com-pared with 2015,agricultural space decreased and ecological space and urban space increased in 2030.(4)The diagnosis results of territorial space pattern conflict showed that there were 1230.26km~2 agricultural space and 8.89km~2 urban space in ecological space in2030.There were 1961.17km~2 ecological space and 38.36km~2 urban space in agricul-tural space.And there were 200.17km~2 ecological space and 395.31km~2 agricultural space in urban space.(5)The results of land spatial pattern optimization showed that the proportion of ecological space,agricultural space and urban space in Zhaotong in 2030 after optimi-zation and adjustment was 70.95:28.18:0.87.Ecological space dominated,followed by agricultural space,urban space minimum.
