Since society is consuming more and more energy of all kinds,moreover,the line loss in the transmission process of the power grid is regarded as one of the losses,power companies should actively exploit various effective schemes to reduce energy consumption.First,this article introduces the formation and types of line loss.Moreover,five common theoretical on the line loss calculation methods are briefly described,such as the voltage loss method,the root mean square current algorithm,the average current method,the maximum current algorithm,and the equivalent resistance method.In addition,the technical loss reduction and the management loss reduction are introduced.In particular,this thesis analyzes the fundamental situation and characteristics of Ruyuan Power Grid,and lists the problems in Ruyuan county in terms of loss reduction through theoretical line loss calculation.In the original medium and low voltage rural distribution network,such as backward equipment,excessively long power supply radius,small conductor cross-section,low power,unbalanced load three-phase distribution and poor management(such as measurement management,meter reading management and system management),the line loss is relatively high.To address the above problems,based on the theoretical line loss calculation,the Ruyuan county power distribution network is reconstructed to reduce losses on the technical and management aspects.Specifically,medium and low voltage power grids should be reformed.For instance,instead of high-energy-consuming transformers,energy-saving transformers should be used.Small-capacity multi-point distribution method should be used to shorten the power supply radius.Reasonable load distribution in the station area or multiple sets of outgoing lines in the station area should be used to avoid overloading the line.Large power supply line diameter method should be used to avoid line overload.The first end of the transformer should be installed with a capacitor for centralized compensation to improve the power factor.The power users in the station area should be adjusted to reduce the three-phase imbalance in the station area.Furthermore,in terms of managing line loss,high-loss mechanical watches should be rotated to increase metering loss and reduce metering omissions.The automatic meter reading and automatic line loss statistical functions of the metering automation system should be used.According to the four-point line loss management mode and actual situation,the medium and low voltage line loss assessment should be strengthened to improve the electricity consumption inspection of the medium and low voltage distribution network to reduce electricity theft and leakage.Dilapidated equipment should be replaced in time.The daily line loss statistical function of the measurement automation system should be used to analyze the line loss,so that the abnormal situation of the daily line loss can be dealt with in a timely manner.Compared with the more serious line loss situation in 2015,line loss dropped significantly in 2020.
