Because of its low price,low noise and good wear resistance,polyoxymethylene gear has been widely used in the field of mechanical transmission in many industries such as auto parts and smart home.Therefore,the research on the energy loss in the process of polyoxymethylene gear transmission is of great significance.In order to reduce the energy loss in the process of polyoxymethylene gear transmission,increase the transmission efficiency of polyoxymethylene gear and improve the transmission performance of polyoxymethylene gear,the source of energy loss of polyoxymethylene gear is analyzed in this paper by combining theoretical analysis,simulation and experimental research,the friction performance,viscosity loss,friction loss and grease lubrication energy loss of polyoxymethylene gear are analyzed and predicted,and the influence of gear transmission related parameters on the transmission efficiency of polyoxymethylene gear are analyzed.The specific research contents of this paper are as follows:1.The main energy loss sources in polyoxymethylene gear transmission and the influencing factors of each main energy loss source are analyzed,and the appropriate research method according to the characteristics of each main energy loss source are selected;2.The calculation method of polyoxymethylene gear friction coefficient are analyzed,the existing empirical formulas of friction coefficient are compared,the influencing factors of polyoxymethylene gear friction coefficient are studied,and tribological test is designed based on this;The influence law and mechanism of main working conditions on polyoxymethylene gear friction coefficient are analyzed;3.The rheological characteristics of grease through rheological experiment is analyzed.On this basis,the power loss of gear stirring grease and the hydrodynamic characteristics of gear meshing transmission under grease lubrication is analyzed through the method of computational fluid dynamics,and the influence law of various parameters on the lubrication energy loss of gear grease is analyzed;4.According to the calculation of instantaneous energy loss during gear meshing,the distribution law of friction power loss and viscous power loss along the meshing line are analyzed,the variation law of gear power loss under different working conditions are analyze,the influence of grease on the power loss of POM gear transmission is explored,and the gear transmission experiment is designed,Through the comparison between the test results and the prediction results,it is concluded that the prediction method in this paper is effective in predicting the energy loss of POM gear transmission.
