Research On Hotel Space Design Based On The Cultural Characteristics Of Quancheng

With the rapid development of China’s hotel industry and the increasing competition among industries,characteristic hotels have attracted more and more attention.The view that more characteristics means more core competitiveness is gradually recognized by everyone.Characteristic hotels occupy an important position in the hotel market because of their highly innovative design rather than mass characteristics.Compared with traditional hotels,characteristic hotels,on the basis of meeting the basic facilities and functions,focus on the theme of unique regional characteristics,history and culture,customs and habits and modern science and technology,endow the hotel with characteristic theme and space atmosphere,meet the needs of consumers for spiritual culture with personalized services,and provide unique experience.It can be seen that the emergence of "characteristics" in characteristic hotels is the result of a deep understanding of regional characteristics and traditional culture and the integration of the unique needs of consumer groups.Spring city Jinan is a famous cultural city with a history of more than 8000 years.It is world-famous for its unique natural environment and historical culture.At present,there are few characteristic Hotels with the theme of spring city culture or spring water culture.In view of this,this thesis discusses the visual expression of Quancheng culture in the design of characteristic hotel space by combining theoretical research and design practice,taking Quancheng culture as the starting point,characteristic hotel space as the carrier,and combined with the theories of semiotics and place spirit.Explore a feasible way to symbolize the spring city culture and combine it with the characteristic hotel space.It emphasizes that different from the previous hotel design,it pays attention to the observability,knowability and sensibility of tourists to Quancheng culture.It is expected to design a characteristic hotel space that is consistent with Quancheng culture,integrated with the surrounding environment,rich in connotation and prominent representation.At the same time,it also strengthens the public’s sense of cultural identity and belonging to a certain extent,so as to promote the inheritance and development of Quancheng culture.
