With the deepening of the concept of green development in China and the continuous innovation of advanced technology in the construction industry,the development trend of green and sustainable low-energy buildings has become the mainstream.Prefabricated steel structure residential building has been vigorously promoted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China because of its advantages of low construction pollution,superior seismic performance,high degree of assembly and convenience for later operation and maintenance.Because there are still some problems in the prefabricated steel structure residential buildings in China,such as unreasonable structure form,insufficient design accuracy and imperfect node processing,the application of BIM technology to solve the above problems has become one of the research hotspots concerned by the construction industry.Based on the current status of BIM research and structural design of prefabricated steel structure at home and abroad,this paper uses prefabricated structural design software PKPM and MIADS to carry out structural calculation and analysis.BIM information model is generated by BIM software Revit.Finite element calculation and analysis of steel structure node is conducted by USING ANSYS to study the application path and method of structural forward design.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Summarize and analyze the application and existing problems of BIM technology in the structural design of prefabricated high-rise steel structure residential projects at the present stage,and discuss the application value of BIM technology in the structural design stage.(2)Based on actual projects,the design problems of traditional structural design methods in similar projects are analyzed,and BIM technology based solutions are proposed.(3)Through the actual project case,the BIM model after transformation is analyzed,and the application approach of BIM model in this kind of structural design is proposed.The research shows that,after transforming the BIM structural model,it is necessary to adjust and modify its axis network,marking,elevation and connection of components,so as to meet the standard of BIM structural design delivery.(4)Based on the architectural characteristics of prefabricated steel structure residence,the principle of interaction design between building and structure is put forward,and the rational arrangement of beams,columns and supports is optimized.(5)Conduct collaborative design based on BIM technology,find collision problems existing in traditional structural design,and propose solutions to similar problems,forming the application method of BIM technology in the design stage of similar engineering structures.The research results show that through the establishment and deepening of BIM model,problems existing in the traditional structural design stage can be found,and BIM technology can be used to solve similar problems existing in the actual engineering,which can effectively avoid the cost waste in the construction stage and produce certain economic value.Figure [58] table [10] reference [64]...
