With the rapid development and application of remote sensing satellite technology,the methods of remote sensing image data acquisition are gradually diversified and convenient,and a large number of multi-source heterogeneous remote sensing images continue to accumulate,which brings great challenges to the storage and retrieval of data.As an important strategic resource,now remote sensing images play an extremely important role in resource exploration,disaster protection,military and other fields,and how to organize and manage these massive multi-source heterogeneous data to achieve rapid retrieval and real-time browsing of images is of great significance.In view of the above problems,this paper conducts a more in-depth study on the management of massive remote sensing images,then designs and implements a massive remote sensing image data management system,and the specific research contents and results are as follows:(1)Based on the relational data,a reasonable spatial database is designed for the storage of massive remote sensing images.Through the analysis of remote sensing data characteristics and metadata,based on the tile pyramid model,the metadata table,tile data table and geographic coordinate table of massive remote sensing data management are established,especially for multi-level remote sensing images,different levels of tile data tables are stored to speed up the display and download of images;in order to complete the storage and management of remote sensing images and metadata,and realize the management of multi-source heterogeneous images.(2)Metadata extraction for multi-source heterogeneous imagery.Due to the variety of remote sensing data sources and the diversification of organizational methods,there are certain differences in image metadata according to different sources,uses and processing methods,and it is difficult to manage and query data in a unified manner.In this paper,different remote sensing metadata parsing methods are designed to extract the common information of multi-source heterogeneous remote sensing images,and the extracted metadata information is used as a metadata table for image management to facilitate the query of related images.(3)Design of data retrieval and display scenarios.Starting from the design of spatial database,this paper studies the characteristics of spatial indexing technology and tile pyramid model,and realizes the rapid retrieval of data by designing an indexing algorithm for multi-source heterogeneous images,and at the same time,based on the dual caching technology,the tile map can reduce the data processing capacity and realize the rapid display of images.
