The cable-stayed bridge with beautiful shape and strong span ability is more and more widely used in China,The stay cable is the most important tension component of cable-stayed bridge,Because of its small damping,large flexibility,light weight and other characteristics,Stay cables are very sensitive to wind rain vibration,It is easy to produce a variety of harmful vibration under the influence of external environment,In order to prevent the disaster which is difficult to rescue and ensure the safety of the bridge,it is necessary to control the vibration of stay cables.A large number of tests have proved that the damper has a significant effect on the control of harmful vibration of stay cables.In this paper,several kinds of electromagnetic dampers are used to reduce the vibration of stay cables.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The The energy equation is established by Hamilton principle,and then the motion equation of the cable electromagnetic resonance damper(ERSD)coupled system is derived.The first three modal damping ratios of the coupled system under free vibration are obtained by using the state space method in the numerical analysis software,and the influence of each design parameter on the modal damping ratio of the system is analyzed.(2)The energy equation is established by Hamilton principle,and then the motion equation of the coupled system of stay cable and electromagnetic resonance inertial mass damper(ERS-ID)is derived.The first three modal damping ratios of the coupled system under free vibration are obtained by using the state space method in the numerical analysis software,and the influence of each design parameter on the modal damping ratio of the system is analyzed.(3)The motion differential equation of the cable electromagnetic inertial damper(EMID)-tuned mass damper(TMD)coupling system is established,The complex wave number is introduced and its analytical formula is solved to obtain the approximate analytical solution of modal damping ratio of cables,The influence of the design parameters of the first three modes EMID and TMD on the modal damping ratio is analyzed.
