Compared with fixed wing and rotor,flapping wing aircraft has the advantages of more flexibility,high concealment,strong mobility and no terrain restrictions.At present,people’s research on birds has achieved a considerable part of the results,and there are also many mysteries that are of great benefit to the development of science and technology and social progress in smaller scale insects.For decades,in order to improve the performance of aircraft,researchers have made a lot of exploration on the flight mechanism of insects.Its excellent flexibility,concealment and agility are of great significance to military and civilian fields such as reconnaissance,detection,search and rescue and monitoring.Taking insects as the prototype,this paper mainly carried out the following work:This paper studies the wing structure and flapping flight mechanism of insects,establishes a quasi-steady aerodynamic model by using the blade element method,analyzes the four main loads of insect flight,and establishes an energy consumption model for the problem of energy efficiency,so as to better analyze the problem of energy density.By studying and analyzing the structure of insect thorax,a four-bar mechanism and flexible hinge transmission mechanism are designed;The piezoelectric actuator is designed with a cantilever double piezoelectric wafer structure,and its motion law and parameters are studied;Taking Diptera insects as bionic objects,the wing structure is designed,and the fuselage and other structures are designed for matching;Considering the difficulty of assembly,the transmission mechanism and fuselage are designed respectively;The spatial location of each part is reasonably arranged.The smart composite microstructure technology and lightweight non-metallic materials such as carbon fiber and glass fiber are used to manufacture each part of the aircraft,which makes the aircraft have considerable strength and stiffness;The final aircraft prototype has a weight of 110 mg,a wingspan of 37 mm,a resonant flutter frequency of about 65 Hz and a flutter angle of about 60 °;The reasonable optimization design is carried out according to the specific steps;The test platform of the prototype is built;The performance of the parts and the whole machine are tested to verify the correctness of the design principle and idea in this paper;It paves the way for the follow-up research and provides a feasible method.
