Most of the traditional linear actuators are linear feed systems with the structure of "rotating motor + rolling screw".The new linear motor actuator uses electromagnetic principle.Compared with the traditional linear actuator,it has the advantages of simple structure,high dynamic characteristics,low noise and high efficiency.With the continuous development of permanent magnet materials,with the in-depth research and continuous optimization of control technology algorithm,the technology of Permanent Magnet Linear Motor has been widely and successfully applied in high-precision machine tools,automobile active suspension,electromagnetic Missile Ejection,Maglev train and other fields,showing the incomparable advantages of transmission linear actuator.This paper firstly introduces the research status of permanent magnet materials,and then introduces the characteristics and development of linear motors.Compared with the traditional linear actuator,a Bilateral Long Secondary Core Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor with simple structure,high thrust,high acceleration and speed is designed.The main content of this article is as follows:Firstly,according to the initial design goal of linear motor,the structure of linear motor is designed.It mainly includes the design of the structural size of primary silicon steel sheet,primary slots and teeth,winding and related parameters;the size of secondary structure,the selection of permanent magnet and its related size parameters are designed;design the air gap,etc.Through the theoretical analysis,in order to meet the design requirements,the initial design scheme of linear electromagnetic actuator is given.Secondly,in the design process,the Maxwell equations are used to substitute for the permanent magnet,and the vector magnetic potential is introduced to physically model the Bilateral Long Secondary Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor with iron core.The magnetic field is analyzed after the model is optimized.In addition,the magnetic resistance of linear motor,i.e.end force and cogging force,is analyzed and optimized.The basic theory and method of electromagnetic simulation are expounded.The electromagnetic field simulation of the designed linear motor is carried out by using the finite element electromagnetic simulation software Maxwell,including the simulation analysis of static magnetic field,magnetic resistance,end force,no-load and load.Based on the basic theorem of thermals,the temperature model of the linear motor was created.Moreover,the temperature rise was calculated and analyzed,and the electro-thermal coupling simulation analysis of the linear motor were conducted by using the Workbench platform in the finite element software Ansys.Finally,an electromagnetic actuator based on Bilateral Long Secondary Core Permanent Magnet Synchronous Linear Motor is trial manufactured and assembled,and the test platform is completed.The no-load speed test and load thrust test are acted on the linear electromagnetic actuator to verify that the motor meets the design requirements,and clarify the correctness and rationality of the theoretical analysis and design method of the motor...
