Heat flux is an important parameter for the study of heat transfer process and thermal protection technology in the field of aerospace.The measurement of transient heat flux is a research hotspot in the current field.The dynamic characteristics of heat flux sensors directly affect the reliability and accuracy of the transient heat flux measurement of spacecraft or aircraft.However,the lack of effective methods to detect the dynamic characteristics of heat flux sensors has hindered the development and engineering application of the transient heat flux sensors.In order to solve this problem,a transient heat flow generator is designed to generate a controllable transient heat flow as the transient excitation source of the heat flux sensor.The transient heat flow generator refers to the principle of pulse detonation and uses hydrogen and oxygen as reactants to generate a single transient heat flow.The focus of the research is to reduce the pressure in the generator to be suitable for the detection of the dynamic characteristics of the heat flux sensor,to obtain the reproducible transient heat flux excitation signal,and to ensure the structural safety of the sensor.Numerical simulation and experimental research are used in this study.In the simulation,nine different working conditions were designed according to different equivalence ratio,initial pressure and hydrogen concentration,and the variation law of single pulse pressure was studied.The transient heat flow generating device was designed and constructed,and the related experiments were completed.According to the simulation results,by adjusting the equivalence ratio,initial pressure and hydrogen concentration,the stability of the single pulse pressure and heat flow parameters were studied.The transient flow pressure is controlled within the safe pressure range of the heat flux sensor through regulation and control,and the transient heat flow excitation signal with rising edge of 0.09 ms is provided,and the synchronous measurement of transient heat flow and pressure is realized.This study provides a new method for detecting the dynamic characteristics of heat flux sensor.
