In recent years, driven by many factors such as China’s rapid economic and social development,China’s urbanization construction is in full swing. On the one hand, the acceleration and advancement of urbanization has brought unprecedented challenges and opportunities to the construction and development of new cities in China. On the other hand,it has also brought some negative effects to the construction of new cities: insufficient supply of land and water resources caused by the increase in the number of urban residents, excessive urban traffic pressure,Motor vehicle exhaust emissions cause environmental degradation.Based on these conditions,China began to try TOD development mode on some existing but insufficient urban nodes. However, due to the disconnection between the underground space construction and the above ground in the early stage of China, the above ground and underground space were separated. Therefore, how to effectively carry out high-density development on these urban nodes and integrate the above ground and underground space is not only the focus of TOD mode research, but also the core of improving the quality of urban node space and achieving the above ground and underground integrated design. This paper studies the development of TOD mode and the integration of underground and above ground, analyzes the theories of urban public space, node space and space integration, and extracts the important related research factors.Combined with the analysis of the research object of this paper, this paper puts forward the design strategy of the integration of underground and above ground node space based on TOD mode from the urban level and architectural level. This paper can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter is to raise questions, including the research background and status quo, research purpose and significance, research object and research scope, research status at home and abroad, research methods and framework.Based on the first chapter, the second and third chapters analyze some problems that may exist in this paper, which are mainly divided into basic theory analysis and object analysis.Using the method of combining theory with practice, the paper summarizes TOD model theory, node space theory, integrated design theory and urban public space theory Influence factors and integrated design requirements are used to analyze the object. The fourth chapter is the case study, which investigates the real state and related cases of the research object from the urban and architectural level. The purpose is to find out the problems existing in the above ground and underground integration design of urban node space under the current TOD mode.In the fifth chapter,to solve the problem, combined with the characteristics of TOD mode, the specific integrated design strategies are put forward, that is,the spatial relationship at the urban level, the functional integration, spatial integration,three-dimensional pedestrian system and systematic environmental facilities at the architectural level. Finally, the main research results of this paper are summarized.
