With urbanization progress continues,metro and other rail transit are playing critical role in mass transit of the city.Brake shoe is a vital component of braking system,and its reliability is strictly related to service safety.The trains of Xiamen metro line 1 mostly arrives in 2017,and the mileages of these trains are close to each other.thus the brake shoes on the train,if no failures occur,will need to be replaced massively due to shortage of lifespan.Therefore,analyzing lifespan of brake shoe,forecasting the time of replacement is vital to service safety.This paper mainly studies the wear of brake shoe of Xiamen Metro Line 1 from the following aspects:1.SIMPACK multi-body dynamics software is used to model the dynamics of the trailer and EMU of the metro train of line 1,which proves that the dynamic performance of the electric bus meets the standard.At the same time,the metro train brake system of line 1is modeled to prove that its braking function meets the requirements of the index.2.According to the dynamic model of the metro train and the operation data record of the real vehicle,the automatic driving mode of the train entering the station is simulated,and the conversion process of electric braking and air braking is analyzed.Then,the Archard wear model is used to calculate the wear of brake shoe.The calculation results show that there is 6.5 percent error between the calculated wear and the actual wear.3.Based on the operation and maintenance data of the metro train of line 1,the actual wear of the brake shoe of line 1 is statistically analyzed,and the service life of the brake shoe with normal wear to the limit is obtained.4.Based on the reliability theory,the paper analyzes the brake shoe failure of line 1since its operation,and obtains the estimation of the expected life point and interval of the brake shoe of line 1,which provides reference for the subsequent operation.The results show that: the wear rate of the brake shoe is low,the expect milage of the brake shoe wearing to the limit is more than 3 million kilometers;The running reliability of the brake shoe is high,and the failure life is more than 30 years.Generally speaking,the service life of the brake shoe is about 20 years,and there is no need for a large number of spare parts at present.
