Research On Critical Success Factors Of Port Engineering Bidding

With the constant development of China’s bidding and tender system,bidding and tender has been widely used as the main way of market transaction for the procurement of construction projects.It can bring quite a few positive effects amid the environment of market economy,including promoting the establishment of an open and equal trading platform for enterprises,the standardization of trading and the improvement of market competition mechanism,which will eventually promote the comprehensive strength of enterprises.On the one hand,considering the current increasingly intense market competition,bidding competition should be focused by bidding enterprises.On the other hand,blind bidding and its bad results should be avoided so as to ensure the economic benefits of enterprises.All of these need to be further discussed.The construction of port engineering is different from other types of engineering,which has many characteristics such as large amount of water works and more machinery and equipment required,which determines its higher requirements on project quality and management quality of bidding enterprises.This paper focuses on exploring the critical factors of successful bidding for port engineering projects.First,it expounds the existing research results,and then concludes the corresponding research theories to provide theoretical support for this paper.Meanwhile,the critical success factors of port bidding are pointed out combined with the case analysis through the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis,case analysis,and so on.It is concluded that enterprises should pay more attention to these critical factors and take reasonable control measures based on the actual conditions when implementing port engineering projects in the future to avoid repeated mistakes and provide important basis and guidance support for relevant decisions.It is hoped that this paper can guide the managers to improve the bidding quality and level against the intense market competition and provide certain reference for the bidding of port engineering projects.
