Bicycle sharing system refers to the public transportation service system in urban areas, which provides bicycles to individuals for free or at a very low cost in a relatively short period of time.In the bicycle sharing system, users can easily borrow or return bicycles at any station. Therefore, the bicycle sharing system is usually used as a supplementary tool for short-distance travel of private vehicles and conventional public transportation. At the same time, for stations located at different locations in the service area, the use of bicycles may be unbalanced. Some stations have too many pitted bikes and not enough parking spaces to accommodate them, while other stations have sufficient parking spaces but inconvenient. The user acquires a bicycle. The existing built-up area environment has relatively poor support for cycling activities, which will not be conducive to promoting the health of the people, the sustainable development of the transportation system, and the response to the country’s strategic guidelines. This article uses Chicago’s 2019 Divvy bicycle sharing system data to explore how the relationship between shared bicycle travel and the built environment is affected by the problem of modifiable time units, and compares the aggregation, division, and boundaries of time units at different levels.Through the establishment of a global regression model,a geographically weighted regression model, and a spatio-temporal and geographically weighted regression model, the characteristics of the change of shared bicycle usage with different time granularity,as well as the impact of built-up environmental factors on its travel distribution and its temporal and spatial heterogeneity Specific research.Compare the three models to explore the reliability of different models, and get a better model and its results.Based on the analysis results of different scales, planning suggestions and policies can be provided to decision makers to encourage cycling and improve the performance of shared bicycle projects in urban areas. The results show that: 1)Different types of users have great differences in the influencing factors. The number of subway stations in the buffer zone has a significant impact on members, but not on non-members.2)According to the time interval of month and quarter, the data of public bicycle stations were aggregated, and the results showed that the inhibition and promotion effect of the model fitting coefficient of quarter on the aggregation of the usage of public bicycle stations was stronger than that of month.3)With different starting points of time segmentation, the variation trend of model fitting coefficient varies greatly.4)The spatio-temporal geographically weighted regression model considering both time and space is better than global regression and geographically weighted regression model. To better interpret changes in the data.
