In recent years,China’s high-speed railway has developed rapidly,which has not only changed people’s lifestyle,but also greatly promoted the development of the national economy.As the external window of railway enterprises,high-speed railway stations play a vital role in this process.Under the background of "transportation power,railway first",how to ensure and enhance the attraction of high-speed railway stations to passenger flow has become the focus of increasing attention.As a powerful tool to evaluate the passenger attraction of stations and service coverage,the catchment has great application prospects.In the current study,most researchers use the specified physical or time radius,and the rationality and accuracy of this method are controversial.Other researchers use the principle of the minimum cost to determine the catchment.This method is too strict,which is not conducive to grasping the specific passenger flow attraction of the station,and is also inconvenient in practical application.Concerning the above problems,this thesis systematically studies the catchment of the high-speed railway from two aspects of attraction range boundary and attraction intensity.The work done in this paper is as follows:Firstly,this thesis defines the research content and category of the catchment of high-speed railway station.Then it combs the existing calculation methods of the catchment and analyzes the influencing factors of the catchment of high-speed railway stations.Considering the engineering requirements,the thesis studies the catchment of high-speed railway stations under different conditions.Concerning the uncertain transportation service and travel demand,the calculation method of catchment under uncertain conditions is proposed.The model considers the competition among high-speed railway stations and the competition between high-speed rail and road.Based on the superior transport distance of the high-speed railway and the cumulative distribution function of the regional travel distance,it adopts a two-stage method to calculate the catchment and the travel sharing rate of high-speed railway stations.A case study of the Yangtze River-Wuhan-Yichang section of the Shanghai-ChongqingChengdu high-speed railway,which is a planned route along the Yangtze River,is carried out.The catchment of stations with different station planning schemes is determined.Combined with the calculation results,the effect of passenger attraction in different station planning schemes is quantitatively evaluated.Regarding the certain transportation service and travel demand,the calculation method of catchment under certain conditions is proposed.The model considers the competition between the high-speed railway stations and the competition between high-speed rail and other modes of transportation.Based on the generalized travel cost and discrete choice model,the catchment and travel share rate of high-speed railway stations are obtained by three-stage calculation.A case study of Wuhan Railway Station is carried out.The calculation results show that the catchment of Wuhan Railway Station includes most urban areas and some Ezhou areas.
