With the continuous maturity of new energy generation technology,users’ demand for stable and reliable power supply continues to improve,and smart grid has become the mainstream direction of future grid development.As the core and hub of the smart grid,the smart substation has been constructed in the State Grid Corporation.Smart substation is facing severe challenges because of the application of the new IEC61850 standard,the use of new intelligent electronic devices(IED),optical fiber communication network and communication standards.It requires relevant technical personnel to learn and practice for a certain period of time to be familiar with and master.Although we can get some experience and guidance from the engineers and technicians in the commissioning process,the key technology and initiative of the commissioning work should be mastered by the commissioning personnel in the construction and maintenance units.This paper first introduces the basic concepts of smart grid and smart substation,and further analyzes the key technologies of smart substation.Smart substation intelligentizes primary equipment with new merging unit and smart terminal as smart components,realizes network sharing of total station information with advanced optical fiber communication technology,and realizes advanced application of smart substation and smart grid based on "three layers and two networks" framework.On this basis,from the point of view of power transmission and transformation project,according to the main items of field debugging,this paper makes a detailed study of the key debugging technologies,such as the merging unit test technology,SV network test technology,GOOSE network test technology,smart switch test technology,relay protection function test technology,and detailed introduces the main debugging methods.Finally,taking a new project of 110 k V smart substation as an example,this paper analyses and explains the application of the debugging technology of smart substation in engineering practice,and verifies the feasibility and practicability of the debugging technology.Meanwhile it analyses the delay of data sampling,control loop and network communication in smart substation,studies the application of interpolation algorithm in sampling synchronization of smart substation,and discusses the reliability of control loop and network communication.
