Biomimetic flapping wing aircraft is a new type aircraft that mimics the flapping wing of flying creatures and integrates many frontier technologies.Now it has become one of the research hotspots in the world,and has broad application prospects in the field of military and civilian.This paper introduces the research background and research status of bionic flapping wing aircraft.Based on the latest research results at home and abroad,some key technologies in current and future research are discussed.This paper mainly studies the mechanism of biological flight,numerical model of flapping wing,aerodynamic characteristics of flapping wing flight and flapping wing motion system.Firstly,taking bird flapping flight as the research object,this paper briefly describes the bird’s body structure,flight mode,flight characteristics and flapping action,which is verificating the feasibility of Bionic Flapping Wing Aircraft.This paper analyzes the bird flapping motion law and rising mechanism,based on the aerodynamics theory.Referring to the bionic design formula of bird scale law,calculating the reference values of the main motion parameters of bionic flapping wing aircraft,the wing layout and flapping wing Reynolds number are mainly studied,which provides a theoretical basis for the design and research of bionic flapping wing aircraft.Secondly,through observing and studying the law of flapping wing movement of birds,and combining with the research results of scholars,and establishing the motion model of flapping wing flight,and implementing the aerodynamic analysis and calculation of the model,and simulating the variation rules of aerodynamic lift and aerodynamic thrust by Matlab software.On this basis,the flow field of flapping wing is simulated by Fluent software,and the cloud images of pressure change,velocity change,turbulent kinetic energy change,eddy mass change in cycle,lift and thrust characteristic curves of flapping wing are obtained,and the motion law of flapping wing and the source of aerodynamic force are analyzed.Then,based on a comprehensive analysis of the common flapping wing flight driving mechanism,a flapping wing motion mechanism is determined according to the bionic design parameters,and a flapping wing mechanism with optimal transmission performance is designed according to the requirements,and then the whole flapping wing system is calculated and designed.Under the constraints of mechanics and bionics,Solidworks 3D software is used to design and model the structure of all parts of flapping aircraft.The strength of key parts of flapping mechanism is checked by Workbench software,and a bionic wing flying vehicle with an wingspan of 430 mm and length of 263 mm is optimized.Finally,the kinematics analysis and dynamics simulation of the whole flapping wing system of bionic flapping wing aircraft are carried out.Through the analysis and calculation,the movement law of the whole flapping wing mechanism is obtained,and the stress analysis of the key points is carried out to prepare for the dynamic simulation.The three-dimensional model of the whole machine is imported into the simulation software Adams,and the aerodynamic force and constraints are loaded.Under the two states of wind resistance and no wind resistance,the forces on the key points of the two motion modes with and without pitching motion and the angular velocity variation law of the connecting rods of the flapping wing system are analyzed by simulation,and the flapping mode with pitching motion has better dynamic performance. |
